From the moment we arrived, we knew there was something truly special about MĀUA. Stepping into the lobby, we were immediately greeted by a wonderful sense of calm that instantly helped us relax. I've travelled extensively over the years, and I can honestly say the team at MĀUA is unlike any other. Every single member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome, but a special mention must go to the reception team and the food & beverage team. Their warmth, kindness and attention to detail are second to none. The way they remembered every guest's name, greeted everyone with genuine smiles, and made us feel less like hotel guests and more like part of their family was something truly remarkable. Every interaction felt heartfelt. The thoughtful touches throughout our stay were simply beautiful. The surprise poolside popcorn and fresh fruit were such a lovely gesture, and the evening turndown service was unlike anything we've experienced before. Each night, returning to our room to find a message and a small gift was incredibly thoughtful. MĀUA doesn't just meet expectations; it quietly and beautifully exceeds them in the most thoughtful ways. A very special thank you to Andri. You are an extraordinary woman with an incredible gift for hospitality. Your warmth, professionalism, attention to detail and genuine care for every guest are truly inspiring. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and your passion shines through in everything you do. Your mixology skills are exceptional, but it's your kindness and ability to make people feel so special that we'll remember most. You are a real credit to MĀUA, and I have no doubt you have an amazing future ahead of you. To everyone at MĀUA, thank you for making our first trip to Ubud so unforgettable. While Ubud is undeniably beautiful, it is the people at MĀUA who will stay in my heart long after I've returned home.

breakfast was amazing but for vegiterians the options were less

my daughter had food poison i.e. bali belly but not sure whether she got it from this hotel food or not. But we are stating the fact here as we ate food from other restuarants outside as well. also i tried reaching the hotel number prior to my arrival to book airport transfer however i was unable to reach the staff over phone. then via the booking.com app i sent msgs but the staff responded late and i had booked a grab and reached the hotel. this experience was not great. also the hotel had mosqitous and some small insects which used to bit us while sleeping, but nothing bad has happened.
