Fantastic location and staff. So friendly and welcoming. One of the best hotel stays we have ever done. Fantastic food for breakfast and evening meals. Bar staff were outstanding.
Really not much. It took a little use to navigate around but that was us not the hotel.

Its clean and beautiful. Nice location
The SPA services left a lot to be desired. There was never any availability and basic services like a pedicure etc not available.

The staff were very friendly especially the chef . The kids club and swimming pool were in a very good location

The pool was stunning together with the view from the infinity pool. The yoga/relaxation class in the morning was great. The room and bathroom were stunning. The spa was amazing as well as all the hotel staff. The chef and restaurant staff were accommodating to my requests for gf breakfast due to coeliac. I would definitely stay here again.
Tv channels limited. The yoga class was only once per day with limited numbers, the shuttle service to the town was limited and restrictive for a resort that is quite a distance from the main town. There is a gf section at breakfast, but the selection was really limited, the gf cakes were really dry and the same tongs were being used for other cakes that were not gf. I would still stay here again though as the staff were so accommodating and it’s just about letting people know.

The lush greenery and landscape, very beautiful and natural.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, great service all the way. Thumbs up to Devita at the lobby, Sindu and Diah of house keeping, very thoughtful towel designs and sparkling clean rooms for us and our kids. We loved your service.

The property is lovely for family and the staff were excellent, so helpful, kind and really warm towards my son.
I just wish the half board dinner option at the restaurant included some western options because if you’re staying for a while it could get boring but the food was delicious either way

the washroom lights were too dim and we had issues when our toliet clogged

Being a fan of Westin and W it felt like coming home. Loved every minute of it
- i can’t figure out why it takes ages to do a simple check - in or check-out. Nerve-wrecking
- having been to Ubud many times I did not mind the serious distance into town. We actually spend most of the time in the hotel. But if it’s your first time I can imagine you want to be closer to town

Breakfast was amazing the selection was great, the quality of food exceptional. Staff very attentive and go above and beyond to accommodate your every need. Location close to Ubud center but has its own sanctuary of piece and quiet - very
The gym was fair and reasonable but my trip was for a personal health and fitness getaway so my initial search criteria was for the best gym - could have been better, it was much smaller than i was expecting.

location is amazing, side by side next to forest landscape all the way to paddy’s field makes perfect for hiking or jogging as a part of hotel’s guided schedule activity.
almost nothing

Hotel staff were polite and professional in their attitude.
• Misleading room description: the “24-hour fitness studio” was far below Westin/Marriott standards — unsafe treadmill, very limited weights (max 20 kg), no leg machines, tiny outdated gym, not as advertised.
• Overall service was not on par with the Marriott brand and fell far below expectations.

We had the executive suite which was very comfortable. The breakfast was good with a lot choices. Pool was good too with plenty seating and a nice view.
The location wasn’t the best with nothing notable within walking distance. The photos look amazing and you would think you are staying somewhere majestic and exotic but the reality does not live up to the photos unfortunately.

Westin Hotel Resorts and Spa Ubud is a great hotel in a beautiful setting. However, because of its remote location and horrendous traffic in the area, it takes ages to get about or from the airport as well to and from attractions in the area.
That said, it is a wonderful place to stay. The staff were warm and friendly and very welcoming. Housekeeping was great, and if you ask for anything, your request is promptly dealt with.
My room was spacious and tastefully decorated. The balcony, overlooking rich vegetation, lets the sunshine into the room every morning.
I had two Balinese massages in the Heavenly Spa and was effiently serviced by both Devi and Amelia.
I recommend this hotel as a comfortable and happy place to stay
The remote location and the heavy traffic meant that you would always need transportation to get about. Although the hotel provides a shuttle service, I was caught with a whopping bill of 30 dollars, including tips, to the patient driver who drove me back in heavy traffic from the Monkey Forest. The shuttle was on its last trip for the day, and i was not aware until I got to the Monkey Forest that the driver would not be taking us back. I would not have gone had I known in advance. The hotel informed me on my return, too late, that I could have booked another taxi through them. This was a frustrating experience added to the distress of the two hours drive from the airport, also caused by heavy traffic.

We spent a week at the Westin and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The rooms were spacious, and the bathrooms were equally impressive, complete with his and her sinks, which is always a nice touch.
The hotel is about a 20-minute drive from Ubud town, but taxis are readily available at reasonable rates.
The restaurants were lovely and accommodating whenever possible. We traveled with our elderly parents, and the hotel chef was exceptionally accommodating, preparing vegetarian Indian meals for us. Breakfast offered a fantastic selection of international cuisine, including Indian favorites like Dosa, Chana Bhatura, and Aloo Paratha—we definitely felt spoiled.
The spa services were fantastic, and we also enjoyed daily yoga and stretching sessions, which can be booked in advance. We made the most of our stay, enjoying both the hotel amenities and exploring Ubud, local shops, restaurants, and the vibrant culture. Thank you, Westin Team, for making our Anniversary celebrations a special one!

Our stay at The Westin Ubud was truly unforgettable — a perfect blend of natural beauty, warm hospitality, and thoughtful luxury.
The hotel facilities are absolutely beautiful, with elegant architecture nestled harmoniously into the lush jungle landscape of Ubud. Every corner feels serene, peaceful, and in tune with nature.
One of the standout highlights was the amazing breakfast and dinner, where every meal felt like a culinary journey. A special thanks to Executive Chef Sebastian Arnold, whose passion and creativity were evident in every dish — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
The location offers stunning jungle views, allowing you to fully unwind and connect with the surrounding nature. It’s the ideal setting for relaxation and reflection.
Our room was not only spacious and comfortable, but also stocked with complimentary water and coffee, along with a thoughtful selection of fresh fruit and handwritten notes, which added a lovely personal touch to the experience.
The spa and massages were amazing — highly professional, relaxing, and set in a tranquil environment. It’s a must-do during your stay. The resort also offers an incredible range of activities, from yoga to cultural experiences, making it easy to engage with both wellness and the local culture.
In short, The Westin Ubud is a sanctuary in the heart of Bali — perfect for anyone looking to relax, recharge, and indulge in the best of what Ubud has to offer.

This hotel made my kids really excited everytime the come back to the room.. Warm welcome from little fish at our check in time, Marshmello and chocolate in turndown time until the tent and elephant towel made their day in this hotel.
I also love their fast response for the complaint. Overall me and my family will stay in here again next time.
Maybe kids movie time (for kids activity) can be more attractive not only from the TV.

Service needs to improve especially in the restaurant. Front desk concierge was good. There was sewer smell at the walk up to the entrance

Everything was just perfect from check-in to check-out. The location was beautiful, and the view from our balcony was simply stunning.
The welcoming and cooperative staff made all the difference. The level of service we received was outstanding, and we truly appreciated the personal attention provided by Mr. Agus and the Restaurant Manager. It was evident that the team is dedicated to ensuring guests feel comfortable and valued.
The cleanliness throughout the property was also impressive. We felt very special , during our entire visit due to the unparalleled attention from the staff.
Thank you for making our stay so memorable. We look forward to returning in the future!
We had booked our stay with Dinner and there was a bit of confusion, however it was addressed by Hotel professionally.

Very clean and looks new. The pool area is beautiful, with a great view overlooking the forest — a perfect place to relax
The room faced the main road and reception area, which resulted in a lot of noise, especially when new guests were checking in. It affected the overall sense of peace and privacy.
