Close to town and supermarket. Off street parking.

NO tea, coffee, sugar, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, spare toilet roll. Heating not adequate.

Just right for our trip, which was a 3 day 4 night walking break for two elderly but fit guys.

The location was spot on. Quiet yet convenient for the town centre, Sainsbury's etc. (within walking distance). The shower was good and strong and water hot. The kitchen was well equipped. There were sufficient cupboards and drawers to unpack clothes into. The tv worked easily and was just about big enough. The house felt warm and well insulated.

The loo seat would not stay up. Only one of the three front door keys actually worked. The single beds and duvets were a little narrow and I dont like 'plastic' duvets and pillows. The sofas in the sitting room were adequate but not great for comfort.

Door code was wrong and the person at the other end f the phone tried 2 other numbers before finding the right one. This seems to have been reported in the guest book previously.

Would have liked to be able to talk to the owner about problems. Plumber turned up without any notice to fix the boiler and we were asked to wait in for cleaner until I came up with the idea that they just call us and use the key safe.

The cottage is very comforable & cosy & has everything you need provided for a restful holiday

The location was perfect for us. It is in easy reach of Keswick & several of the lakes as well as the coast. It is not too busy being away from the honey pot regions of the the Lakes. the king size bed is the comfiest I've ever slept in on holiday & the settes with foot rests are ideal to relax in at the end of a long & busy day .

A few small items were not replaced eg, A broken light bulb & only one toilet roll. The dishwasher had inadequate instructions & no salt was provided so we had to use the rinse programme 3 times to get all the soap out.

Enjoyable stay, pity it rained, would recommend to people for a short break in cockermouth.

Very good location, comfortable, near takeaways and restaurants and pubs, coffee shops. Clean and homely.

Nothing really, we have a big car and it was slightly awkward getting in and out for parking. Quite dark in the courtyard entrance but torches were provided.

The little extras like tinfoil,oven gloves and even torches. Plenty of room for our family and a very central location.
