Clean, comfortable, very central location

Drab, poorly ventilated unit in working class area.

Owner was responsive and allowed us early access which was appreciated as we were jet lagged and its was pouring with rain. Bus stops nearby. Good cafe selling traditional food also nearby. Washing machine. Two bedrooms with comfortable beds.

£150 bond was required but that wasn’t apparent when booking the unit. The refund was processed, on paper, quickly after we left but took 6 days to be actually be received. Front door lock to the building was broken and there was a bad smell in the hallway. Unit is poorly ventilated with windows dripping with condensation. The only window that opened was the main bedroom onto the street. Furnishings all drab. Washing machine seal had a filthy black slime. We found the dehumidifier on the 2nd day which we ran continuously to dry our washing and try to dry out the unit. The whole place could do with some TLC. We were glad to leave, despite finding Belfast an intriguing city.

We enjoyed our stay, An authentic neighbourhood to immerse yourself in the history of Belfast.

The apartment was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our 2 night stay including easy parking on the street outside. We were an easy walk to grocery stores and public transport to the centre of town was a close by.

We were a little concerned that the outside door to the apartment block was kept ajar by the upstairs neighbour.

Short break in Belfast

We like to stay in a home rather than a hotel whilst visiting places, and this place provided a comfortable and peaceful place to stay. The facilities listed all worked fine and the beds were comfortable and it was quiet. The owner liaised with us at all times and replied to our questions promptly.. Overall, it was good value

Be aware that it is a 20 minute walk to the city centre. This isn't a criticism as the info is there for all to see, it's just that some people may not enjoy walking as much as we do.. Also, a £150 deposit has to be transferred to the owner in case of damages, which we weren't previously aware of. To put anyone's doubts to rest though, the deposit was swiftly returned on the day of departure.

Great location and a great price

For Belfast it was a great location for the price. Room for clean and large. Kitchen was very functional. I stayed there with my 5-year-old son and we both enjoyed it completely. The place is actually in walking distance of downtown and the harbor.

House had virtually everything we required(apart from face washers). Quiet area, great walking area

Grand stay in good value apartment

Handy location for touring around Belfast and no problem in finding a parking space on the street - I actually got parked just outside the apartment throughout my stay. Apartment is quite roomy and the area is pleasantly quiet/peaceful so no issues when trying to sleep. Other than that, the apartment has everything you need to provide for yourself on a city break. Matt, the host, was pleasant and more than happy to help in any way he could.

I found the beds to be a tad uncomfortable and likewise the sofas. I needed to wear a sleeping mask as I found the room to be bright in the morning - I am somewhat sensitive to light though so may not affect everyone in the same way. Also dishes/cutlery needed cleaning before use (it seems that it is the previous guests who clean their dishes and quite a few were at best half cleaned)

Great time in Tigers Bay and Belfast

Location for us is great as we have friends in the area also pub,shops and train station all within a few minutes walk and friendly people in the neighbourhood

Check in and Check out very easy! The location is great, very easy to get to the train station or city center. Matt was very easy to communicate with, so we really appreciate our stay overall ;)

Warm and comfortable in a great location

The apartment was lovely, comfortable, warm and clean. The location was perfect for us as we had a car, but also very close to the city centre and titanic museum (5-10 min drive). Checking in and out was also very simple via the key lock to obtain keys. We were pleasantly surprised with this apartment! Thank you for having us :)

Excellent value for money

Very clean, comfortable, nicely decorated. We were there during a cold snap - the apartment was warm and cosy ; kitchen well equipped. Good water pressure on the shower. Parking space in front of the house. If you like walking, like we do, it is walkable into the city centre. Not too far away from the city centre, taxi back did not break the bank either. Good host, very helpful and approachable, very friendly.

okay, just okay.

Kitchen was equipped well so I prepare my breakfast with no problems. Location isn't great with almost no restaurants and shops in the near vicinity. I don't know Belfast but my friends from there ware afraid to go to this district.

Communication with administrator of the property. High deposit transferred in not clear way, eventually it come back to my account but this created problems during key collection from the secured lock.
