Disappointing

Location.

Apartment and veranda needing cleaned and parts redecorated. Door runner/strap missing. Cooker hob cracked. Not enough lounge seating, there were 5 in our party. Dirty marks on walls, some looked disgusting. No hairdryer. There was meant to be one. No tea towels. Dishes left in dishwasher. Toilet seat loose. The neighbouring apartments appear to be occupied by students, as we found out at 11.45pm! We did e mail Ben and he offered us a late checkout and his apologies.

We got offered early check in either 12, 1 or 2, we opted for 1 paid £30 extrea for this to turn up at the apartment which hasn’t been cleaned. The full plaxe was dirty and messy. Used towels on the floor, dirty makeup stained sheets, dirty dishes in the sink. Even one of the bedrooms were stinking off pee clearly hadn’t been cleaned. Don’t recommend one bit Avoid it

Close proximity to city centre, not able to hear any road noise from our apartment on 6th floor, easy access in/out of building/apartment, kitchen has all the amenities you’d need.

Towel that was on my bed on arrival had makeup on it so didn’t use it, in the triple room the divan base on double bed was ripped so my mum nearly fell off the bed when she sat on the mattress as it sunk down.

A really nice apartment with spectacular views, good value for money.

The views were amazing and the apartment was well equipped. The terrace was a bonus during our stay. The apartment was lovely and clean on arrival. The hosts are excellent at keeping in contact during our stay and were extremely helpful. Short 20 minute walk into the city centre.

On arrival, we had to locate the keys from the lockbox. This is situated down the side of the building. We arrived late and it was dark and not ideal that we had to be down the side of the building. We had watched the check-in video but we couldn't get into the lockbox. We went round to the front of the building and someone who was leaving the property 'Just let us in' We managed to get into the lockbox the following morning. It would be better if the lockbox was maybe in the foyer of the apartments where it is light.

For starters we were never given a passcode to enter the property. When we phoned the contacts number no one answered and never returned our call. We were fortunately let in by residents of the property. The “pent house “ was filthy. The floors were so sticky our shoes stuck to them. There were pubic hairs in the bed and bath tub and urine on the toilet seat. One bedroom smelled of urine so strongly none of us would sleep in it. The terrace furniture was overturned and beer bottles and cigarette butts were strewn about. I have never stayed in such an unsanitary dirty accommodation. After finally getting in contact with management via email I provided videos and pictures of the state of the unit and they were minimally responsive. We moved the conversation to WhatsApp at their request but they never did anything to rectify the situation.

The location is pretty central, property is very spacious and modern in design.

The property in design is great. Property wasn’t clean upon arrival and the cleaning, maintenance company have clearly let the owner down as without the issues that we had to raise in respect of the below our visit would have been great. No mattress protectors / stains on mattresses Kitchen was not cleaned after previous guests Bath broken as plug unable to hold water Patio area requires repairs Kitchen utensils require updates and microwave fixing. Furniture requires deep clean or replacing I do appreciate that the owners were quick to respond and addressed my concerns very quickly. With all the above issues resolved I would consider staying again.

It was expensive for the quality of the property but the staff were good.

The suite matched the pictures and the terrace was spectacular. The room sizes were good and fans were provided due to the unseasonable warm weather. The staff were helpful and respectful.

One of the bedrooms was designed not to have windows that opened. While the building was relatively new, it seemed to be poorly constructed (the faucet in the kitchen was poorly installed and essentially broken, the shower door was off its track, the tv was undersized etc).
