Great location for our Cader Idris hike.
Ideal for our mixed group with camper van, bunkhouse room and tent.
Good sized pitches.
Clean wash facilities.
Site was a bit crowded with ppl parking so tightly on road edges it was difficult to get van around sometimes.
Bunkhouse mattresses were too soft/saggy.
Campers found their pitch was noisy with kids short-cutting across.

It was reasonable close to where we wanted to get to and luckily our neighbours were all pretty quiet so we got a good nights sleep.
Expensive for a small room with three bunk beds, fortunately there were only three of us so we made it work ( I could not imagine six people in there!) a very small window, so hardly any ventilation, to small a kitchen, a building this size should only be catering for half the number of people it is designated for. Closing the main toilet block for cleaning in the early morning just when everyone was waking up and wanting to use them has to be just the silliest thing, quite a few irate campers waiting to get in.
