Wonderful chateau for a relaxing holiday

The location and the chateau are stunning. Rooms are beautifully decorated and the hostess was extremely friendly, attentive and supportive. She would help with planning your days depending on what you want to explore and help making reservations. The breakfast was every day a feast with delicious homemade cakes and other products from their land or other local places. We loved this place and will definitely come back.

What a find. Ivana is a perfect host. Breakfasts were great. The story of the chateau and the restoration is very interesting so be sure to ask about it.

The property was absolutely incredible, and the host Ivana and her family were truly delightful as well! The château is beautiful and there are many wonderful sights to see in the area - I would highly recommend staying at Château d’Hodebert, and we will definitely be back to visit again!

Incredible experience

it is impossible to put into words how fantastic this location is. it starts with the endless, beautiful driveway where, after many meters, you see the impressive chateau. absolutely everything has been decorated and maintained with so much taste and care. it was an honor for us to stay in such a beautiful chateau with so much family history. Yvana makes you feel very welcome, she provides a great breakfast with many home-made products and served in a very attractive way. she gave us good tips for sights, culture and restaurants. the rooms are also beautifully decorated, as are the spacious living rooms. there is a pool table, there is a nice big swimming pool and a huge area where you can walk. a five star hotel can't compete with this!!

The perfect

This was the ultimate Chateau stay - a fantastic French hostess in a home that belonged to her husband's family and is filled with family memories and items of interest. Ivana went above and beyond to ensure all her guests had a fabulous stay and enjoyed the time in her home. Breakfast was exceptional - home baked bread as well as fresh croissants and baguettes, home made yogurt, smoothies and jams as well as treats like Clafoutis with local cherries and fresh crepes. Cheese and fruit were locally sourced. We had to drag ourselves away from the table each day

Nothing. This was a perfect place to stay. There is a wonderful, quiet swimming pool with lots of sun loungers, e-bikes to take out with maps provided by Ivana, very comfy beds and lots of hot water. Ivana also provided picnic equipment for us to have a picnic dinner on the back terrace on a couple of nights when we did not want a big meal out.

Perfect stay at this French château !

The château is very wel maintained and looks amazing (especially during sunrise). The family who owns this place really make you feel at home and take all their effort to give tips on sights and restaurant. Amazing breakfast, amazing pool, amazing rooms (really feel the history) and very surroundings.

One of a kind..!

Amazing ‘royal’ stay! The chateau, the park and the room are one of a kind. It was so special to stay in a place like this, with all the history that is very well preserved. We really loved it. We walked in the park every morning and evening and it was so nice to explore. We felt like royals in our beautiful Park room with amazing views. Ivana is a wonderful host and can help you with anything you need. Breakfast was a delight, with fresh products, beautiful music in an outstanding dining room. And last but not least: the pool is very refreshing during hot days. We liked the fact that they ask for quietness at the pool, so no yelling, crying or jumping at the pool:) Just perfect for a swim and a good book!
