The location was excellent

There was no small refrigerator in our room which was very unusual and very inconvenient- the staff very kindly made us a breakfast pack as we had an early checkout- we could not eat as the weather was warm and it was not refrigerated overnight in our room

Nice room in the heart of old town, so walking around was super convenient. Good size of room. Nice atmosphere, good in most aspects.

Second floor without elevator (expected though in an old building) was tiresome due to our heavy luggage. Check-in process not that easy. A small fridge would be appreciated. A bit noisy due to diners below, but with closed windows sound-isolation was fine. Bonus tip for the whole town, not the room's problem but the town's: No parking inside so you have to pay a large fortune to park, and then carry the luggage in the streets for 15 minutes, which was exhausting.

Beautiful quaint hotel in the perfect location in Rovinj old town

We have just returned from the most amazing stay in Rovinj, what an unbelievably beautiful part of the world. Our stay at Residence Dream was almost flawless, with extremely helpful staff, clean comfy rooms and the most perfect location. The hotel is situated just off the main road on a beautiful back street full of lovely restaurants, bars and lots of charisma, not only is it beautiful it’s easy to find and just metres from everywhere you’d want to be. We received 20% discount voucher for the restaurant below and the food was delicious, with lots of choice on the menu. I would recommend speaking to the hotel staff if you haven’t made arrangements for airport transfers as they were very helpful in assisting us with this and helped us get a great price too!

The only downside was there was no iron available in the room or at the hotel when we requested. Not a deal breaker but we would have packed accordingly had we realised.

Rovinj is very beautiful. Loved the hotel & location.

We were travelling by bus so loved the location, only a short walk. We were the only ones who booked breakfast so were treated to a personal meal. We had one dinner & it was excellent. The staff was friendly & very helpful. The area is very beautiful. We did a walking tour at 6pm. We loved learning about the town, architecture & history. We recommend doing a tour in the evening as the cruise ship passengers are there in the daytime.

I suffer from vertigo so had a little difficulty going up & down the very steep stairs. My husband carried our luggage. Not a problem for anyone else. We were on the top floor so ask for a lower floor if stairs are a problem.

Parking is horrible, also the staff would have to know the options to park a car. As the hotel is in the old city's walking part, you cannot even approach the hotel with a car. I had to call the Rovinj parking central myself and download an app on the street to have to possibility to leave the car there after going around for about one hour to find a place.

breakfast is Nothing Special. only 3 hard boiled eggs for 6 people having breakfast at the same time, tomatoes run out… hotel personal werent there attending the guests … parking is like: good luck and search around till you get a spot.. no further indications were given for a longer staying parking area. dinner at the restaurant was expensive even if we got 20% discount…

Staff was great and very helpful. Thoughtful and friendly. We enjoyed the restaurant, and enjoyed our meals there. Great location (very centrally located, but sheltered from the main people traffic at the same time). We definitely appreciated the air conditioning during our stay (summer).

Parking can be a challenge, but is expected for a popular, small and old coastal town. We used an app to pay for multi-day parking.

The location is amazing, you can't beat it. The bed is comfy and the wifi password etched into the nightstand was such a sweet touch. The air conditioning was fast to turn on and always appreciated with the heatwave from that week. Would recommend for staying with someone or alone. Lovely spot.

I wish that instead of the long welcome message talking about the hotel, I wish it was upfront about breakfast time and other related details. Whenever I stepped in to ask a question, staff were nice and helpful in every way. Would recommend this spot due to location, lovely air con, and staff. The restaurant had better seafood than the seafront restaurants I tried.

The location is fabulous. Restaurants, cafes, shopping, they're all within walking distance. The decor of the rooms is perfect, renovated but in keeping with the original style of the building. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is also very good.

The TV mostly had only German channels which were not useful for us and the wifi didn't reach our room which was at the very top.

Deliciuos and large meals; a nice, cosy and clean room. The staff was helpful and very friendly. They also had very individual attitude towards us. Very close to the beach. Almospherical place and special climate of the restaurant.
