Excellent apartment, hosts, location, bedroom tree house feel for a great price!

Excellent location within Old Town to have as a home base while exploring the beauty of Rovinj. Close to all of the historical sites, restaurants, cocktail bars, espresso bars, and the waterfront. Getting to the apartment was a breeze, access is set up with keys in a lock box, and all coordination prior to arrival was through What's app that made check in super easy. The apartment was on the upper floors on two levels. A small sitting room upon entry, useful kitchenette, and shower. The upper-level attic bedroom was spectacular with a bright sunny space through 3 large skylights that generously opened up for harbor views, city views and a delicious view of the St. Euphemia Bell Tower. The bedroom was fit up with a very comfortable bed, storage options, sitting area for a glass of wine while enjoying the sunset and boats, and a simple bathroom. All was clean and simply appointed with all basic needs covered. A spectacular find for location and cost!

This is really not a complaint, but if you are tall you will have to bend your head and body to get on the bed and walk around the bedroom level to the bathroom. Skylights can be opened for more head room while in the sitting area. It would be nice to have a table associated with the tall seating for wine, glasses, and snacks while enjoying the harbor views. You could have a third join as the entry sitting room had what looked like a futon, but it did look a little bit worn.

A szállásadó kedves és nagyon rugalmas volt, már becsekkolás előtt ott hagyhattam a csomagomat a vendégházban, amiért nagyon hálás vagyok. Éjszakai buszozás után voltam, ezért szintén nagyon nagy segítség volt, hogy engedték, hogy egy kicsit rendbeszedjem magam, mielőtt nyakamba vettem a várost. Másnap kicsekkolás után szintén megőrizték a csomagomat estig. A szállás a történelmi belváros közepén található, egy sikátoros utcából nyíló icipici téren, nagyon hangulatos helyen. A tengerparti sétány és a Szent Eufémia templom néhány perc távolságra voltak, a buszpályaudvar 10 perc séta.

A great place to stay in the heart of old town!

The location was great, right in the heart of old town. Easy and clear entry instructions. The staff rapidly replied to questions that I had and had a lot of good suggestions as to grocery stores, restaurants, beaches and getting to the islands. Good view from the bedroom windows that tilted in, you could stick your head out and enjoy your morning coffee while looking at the ocean. My room was on the second floor and contained a sitting room/dining room/kitchen/shower. Then up a flight of steps to the top floor bedroom and bathroom

You had to be aware of where your head was in the bathroom as it was on the upper floor and the roof was slanted.

We loved the accommodation and host was so helpful with questions and information that is nice to know. Everything we asked we received from the restaurants to rental car information. Everything was lovely. Hope to visit again!

Cold water shower the first day/night but the host fixed it immediately for the end of the day shower. Towels were worn and rough, not soft. No kitchen towel to dry dishes or hands, just paper towel. All else was perfect!

Location was amazing. Right in the heart of the old city and close to everything you may need. Svitlana was super helpful with sending a list of recommended things to see, eat and do. The views from the top floor apartment were incredible! You definitely have to watch your head as it’s an attic style room, but so worth it for the views and stunning interior. I will stay here every time I come back to visit. Thank you Svitlana!

Fantastic hosts with super high standards

Great hosts! They looked after us when we had to do a little rearranging due to us arriving a day late because I was unable to arrive on time (unforeseen circumstances) - we were actually put in their other accomodation because of this, so can’t comment on this particular housing, HOWEVER if the standard of this accomodation is anything like their other place, it will be thoughtfully designed and executed to the highest of standards. We were seriously blown away by the standard. So clean and modern, yet warm and inviting with gorgeous personal touches. Great to come home to after being out and about in Rovinj, which can be a little hectic!

Excellent, well located stay in Rovinj!

Great little guest house in an excellent location! You are right in the heart of everything in Rovinj and walkable distance to the water, restaurants, shops, bars, etc. The host was extremely responsive, writing back on WhatsApp within an hour at most and provided great restaurant recommendations.

The pictures are of all of the rooms, so it was a little confusing at first. My room didn't have much of a view, but I didn't mind as I planned to spend time outside of it! The small kitchen is shared on the first floor, which was great. I didn't use it much, but it was nice to have access to a refrigerator. I was working remotely and the wifi was just okay, but this is an issue throughout all of the old town and the host did everything she could to remedy the situation.

Tveksamt val i vackra Rovinj.

Läget i gamla stan. Med många barer, restauranger och närhet till havet. Snabb och trevlig service när problem uppkom. Och det var ofta.

Vi var inte nöjda med vårt val. Ganska jobbigt att hitta och gå trots att vi bara hade handbagage. Problem med internet (som åtgärdades). Sängen var smal för två. Placerad mot en vägg så den som låg innerst fick klättra över den andra. Vi lyckades flytta den så att bägge kunde gå i och upp med lite golv för fötterna. Då upptäckte vi att det inte varit städat på länge längst in vid väggen. Men de kom snabbt och städade. Det var inte meningen att försöka flytta sängen. Madrassen inte bra. Mycket störande oljud från sängen när man vände sig. Bodde högst upp med smal trappa. Nu hade vi bara handbagage så det gick. Men med stor väska? Rummet hade ingen utsikt och kändes klaustrofobisk. Toaletten gick sönder sista kvällen. Gick inte att spola! Inte så kul. Man måste låsa upp dörren till gatan med nyckel. Inte säkert om det skulle brinna. Skulle förstås vara möjligt att öppna dörren utan nyckel. Boendet passar säkert många men vi trivdes inte.

The staff were very friendly. Alice gave us some tips where to go to eat and to go out. She was extremely nice to us and approachable.

The checkin was scheduled at 15:00 and the check out at 10 am. To pay a full day for this, I don’t think is worth it. In addition, the need to clean the AC. When we turned on the AC, there was a really bad smell in the room. They should take care about this asap.

The Guest House Golden Goose was an AMAZING experience! The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Old Town Rovinj and close to the ferry dock and so many great restaurants. The room was very clean and modern and was air conditioned on very extremely hot days. The best part was the incredible VIEW! The top duplex has windows that open on the roof and you can sit and watch the harbor for hours. The staff is incredibly responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend!!

Great choice in rovinj!

This property was gorgeous and clean!! We loved being steps away from everything and how cute the house was. Check in was easy and the hosts were nice. The view of the sea was gorgeous as well.

Only suggestion I have is to put a motion light in the reception area. There were other motion lights in the stairs, but it would be nice in reception too.
