Fabulous location , clean ,comfortable,good breakfast

Noise from road works outside but this was only temporary.

Location was great, and we appreciated the free options like ice cream and water in the lobby. Room was a great size with many outlets and fans which was appreciated in the heat. There were three of us so the 3 person room was perfect and gave us plenty of room at a great value.

The breakfast was very small and did not have many options. We were given the option to order a fritatta which was so stiff and stale we thought it must be fake eggs (but then found out it wasnt). Switzerland is expensive so I thought paying for hotel breakfast would be better value than going out to restaurants but it would have been better to have just got a snack from the Coop than pay for the breakfast here. Other main issue was that there was a portable air conditioner in the room and a big hose connecting it through the window outside. I dont know what it was about this but it triggered my sinuses terribly and I was unable to sleep the two nights I was there because it gave me a terrible head cold (I had no sinus issues outside the room but couldn't breathe through my nose when in the room). The other two people I was traveling with were fine but I wish there was central air instead of this since I had such a reaction to the room. The rest of our trip we stayed in hotels with either no AC or central air and i did not have this issue again, so it must have been related to the portable air conditioner.

The location was good. Breakfast was also great with fresh ingredients.

There is no air conditioning at the property. We had to suffer for 2 nights without air-conditioning. The air cooler provided little to help cope with the warm weather. We had to open the window, unfortunately, there was work just below our unit and we had to contend with the noise early in the mornings. It's our first experience to have a hotel room without AC. The toilet is also very small. I took for granted AC will be provided, a basexpectation to stay in comfort. I would not recommend this hotel for those who need a good night's sleep on their vacation.
