Great location pretty underwhelming everything else

Location is the thing that wins here

The online staff is the worst, I had an emergency they would t let me cancel 6 hours after I booked so I got tickets to come out the day before specifically so I could leave this review. Very small room with almost no amenities and a tv that didn’t work. Kids running the front desk were mostly hanging out with their friends and drinking most days it seemed like it may have been one of their birthdays which was celebrated in the cafe downstairs. The location is great, that’s all I would say this place really has going for it.

Gress as Thor an overnight stay. Whilst small it is clean and beds were very comfortable.

Location. 5 minutes from train station and about 20 minutes from Main Street. Also minutes to old town restaurants and bars.

Fantastic location, solid hotel room but not one to spend time in.

Friendly staff, great downstairs bar, and amazing location. You can't ask for a better place to explore Zürich from. Bathroom was decent, and amenities were supplied. The room was a great size for one traveller. It'd function for two, but don't unpack everything.

The (translucent!) windows were facing neighbor windows, in both the room and the bathroom. The bathroom also had a glass door that let in light in the morning.

I booked this hotel because it was in a good location, price was cheaper and the photos looked good. The staff allowed three of us to stay in one double room, offering a bed at extra cost.

The place is not well kept. The wall had not been painted for how many years we would not know, but it was dirty. We had an unpleasant feeling. Above all, the room heater did not work. It was very cold. We booked another hotel and moved within an hour. We booked for 2 nights and I asked them to refund at least for the second night. They said they will settle via email and I am yet to hear from them. It was a good decision to move to a better hotel, where we felt safe and comfortable.

The location of the hotel is great and walking distance to most of the attractions.

The room was quite small, and the bathroom door was made of transparent glass, which means there is very little privacy if you are sharing the room. The facilities and amenities were very basic and outdated. In addition, the sound of the tram was very loud and caused noticeable noise and vibrations, especially when passing by.

The staff of the hotel and they were very friendly and very helpful. I had a office meeting and I requested for a couple of things, specially the clothing iron machine and they provided in the night.

Everything in this hotel is really nice and cozy. The only thing that I do not like about the property is that while entering in the hotel, they have the stairs. For a heavy luggage it’s difficult

Unhelpful staff & noisy location

Above a busy bar. Staff very unhelpful- I made an error when I booked so as I noticed within an hour I asked if I could change the date - they said ok to change. Had multiple messages & emails but when we turned up they denied all knowledge - I showed them the messages but we still didn’t have a room. Stayed in fantastic hotel up the road.

It’s over a “Dada bar” but the room we had on 4th floor was quiet.

Location close to main train station—quiet because of double (or triple) glazing. Comfortable bed.

The breakfast was a real rip-off. Grotesquely expensive. Go somewhere else—anywhere else, really. There are plenty of places nearby.

I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience to help future travelers avoid the same mistake. I stayed at this hotel for two nights, and unfortunately, it was far below expectations. First of all, the facilities were severely lacking. The room felt outdated, and several amenities advertised on the website were either unavailable or non-functional. The biggest issue, however, was the bathroom. To my shock, there was visible mold around the shower and on parts of the ceiling. Adding to the discomfort, the hotel lounge – which could have been a place to unwind – was blasting extremely loud and repetitive techno music before 7 PM. It felt more like a nightclub than a hotel lobby, and the volume was so high it was impossible to have a conversation. A hotel should be a place of rest and hospitality. Sadly, this one delivered neither. Until they address these serious issues – from cleanliness to staff behavior – I strongly advise staying elsewhere. PS: The pictures are outdated, dont trust it!

The location was perfect. The room' size was very good, the bathrrom was well maintained. The hotel staff is friendly and they let me leave a package, for when I return to Zurich in one week.

It was a bit hot and the A/C was sometimes a bit loudy.

Ideal location for our break in Zürich

Great location near lots of bars and restaurants, and very easy to catch a tram to the lake and airport. Nice room with river view, aircon, and smart modern bathroom. Pleasant reception and housekeeping staff.

The room was fine but needed a bit of maintenance, eg holes in wall where TV bracket used to be.

Great location and close to the main train station. Great staff. Room was decent size and clean and nice bathroom. Can't say anything bad about the place. There's a bar downstairs which could be handy (but I did not use) I stayed for only one night.

I would like to share my feedback regarding my recent stay, which was unfortunately very disappoin

Upon arrival, I found the room to be unclean and in need of maintenance. This was significantly different from what was shown in the hotel description. Additionally, there were hygiene issues—there were ants in the room, as clearly shown in the attached pictures, which made my stay quite uncomfortable. Just two hours after check-in, the internet connection stopped working entirely. I had to pay extra to secure external internet access in order to continue my work, which added unnecessary inconvenience and expense. Given these points, I was extremely dissatisfied with my stay.

Perfect hotel to stay when you want to be close to the main train station & the Bahnhofstrasse!

USA travelers, don’t be put off by checking in, in a (very cool) bar! It is in a great location & yes…maybe a bit loud, but close the windows & curtains & all good! I had one of the 2 balconies (ask for this!) & the day turned warm!!! The bar is cool. A perfect place to take your first Hugo or Aperol Spritz.

Nothing! Well…maybe the Sfr 22 continental breakfast, but I guess that is what it costs in such a great location.
