Overall, a decent villa with a nice view, but during October the insects and cleaning issues affected our stay.

We stayed at Villa Angela for a few nights in October. The location and view are beautiful, and the villa is spacious and well equipped — great for families with four bedrooms. The owner was also very kind and responsive. However, we couldn’t enjoy the balcony because it was full of stink bugs (shield bugs). Unfortunately, they even got inside the house — every day we found some, even though all windows and doors were closed. With two babies, this was a big inconvenience. Cleanliness could also be improved; the villa was fine overall but a bit dusty. And please note that a car is absolutely necessary — it’s difficult to access and taxis are hard to arrange. Overall, a decent villa with a nice view, but during October the insects and cleaning issues affected our stay.

Very well-maintained home with one of the best views in bellagio!

This property is super clean with up-to-date amenities. It’s very well-maintained. Light and bright inside with beautiful views of the lake throughout the home and patios. The host is very helpful with any questions you might have or recommendations you need regarding restaurants or points of interest. Plenty of hot water for the showers, which were all well appointed. Air condition throughout which kept the place nice and cool.

The property is a hillside location, so the roads are very narrow, but manageable. The good news is the roads were recently resurfaced and in great condition. Having a rental car is advisable since the distance to town is about a 45 minute walk with elevation. These minor inconveniences are well overshadowed by the beautiful views from the Property.

Phenomenal view and perfect group holiday villa

The view from the balcony is the real winner! Angela and Stefy were lovely and helpful. The villa is clean and tidy with good kitchen facilities, two dining room tables and a hot tub to enjoy. We would definitely recommend for group holidays! Thank you

A couple of the beds have thinner mattresses so are less comfortable. The location is also quite remote but we walked regularly up and down the steep hills to bellagio (45 mins).

Great view in a quite area

we actually enjoyed being about a 5 minute car ride from the center of town . The center is very busy. This home is in a quite location with a great view. definitely not walking distance from the port and center. A car is definitely needed to stay there.

Absolutely Great!

First of all: The view from up the hills on the balcony is breathtaking. Very big house. Enough space for 7 persons. Very clean and stylish. Everything what you need is there. Stefy and Angela were very very kind. It was a pleasure to stay in this house and enjoy the feeling of Bellagio and the view on comer lake. We will come again some day! Thank you very much for making our holidays unforgetable in this house.

Amazing views, every amenity provided. Wonderful stay!

Absolutely wonderful stay. Such amazing communication, so clean and well kept, beautiful views, all the necessary amenities provided, and the house was so well equipped - more than we hoped for! Everything was considered and we didn't miss anything at all. Thank you so much for your amazing hospitality at Villa Angela, especially to Michael for your responsiveness, help and care for every question and situation. We were a group of 7, and had the best time here! We highly recommend Villa Angela. Just to note, a car would be advisable as it is easier to drive up to the property than to walk.

It is a lovely villa and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Villa Angela was extremely comfortable, spacious and quiet. There were 3 couples staying and we enjoyed the facilities of the villa especially the lovely terrace and the fantastic views of Bellagio and Lake Como. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms well equipped and modern. The owner was delightful and was there to greet us and showed us around the villa, giving us information on the house and the surrounding area. It was truly a fabulous stay.

I think our only issue was location. Villa Angela is located along a narrow lane and it is some way from the centre of Bellagio. We had problems getting taxis into town especially during the day when it was impossible. We did manage to get taxis in the evening but it was expensive. It is too far to walk, so a car is really the best solution as long as someone is happy not to drink!
