A peaceful gem

What a beautiful home! The location was perfect – just a lovely walk into town, yet wonderfully peaceful and relaxing. The house itself was spotless, tidy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Washing machine is available for use once or twice at no extra charge! What really made our stay special, though, were the hosts. They went above and beyond, and even surprised us with a bottle of wine for my birthday! Such a kind and personal gesture that truly made us feel welcome.

Comfortable 2 BR flat with parking

The property was clean and well equipped. Fabio greeted us and Giuli provided lots of local knowledge that was helpful and reliable. It was great to have on site parking as this can be a significant expense in Italy.

Charming classic Italian apartment on a great property near the heart of Bellagio

La Turr de Mez is a charming well kept apartment rental. The apartment had many conveniences and was very homey. Our apartment had a small terrace and another outdoor area. The terrace had great views of the Bellagio hillside and even a small view of the lake itself. We appreciated the amazing graciousness of our host Fabio. We arrived tired from long travels and were welcome to crackers, jams, spreads, water bottles, beers and prosecco! This was really nice of Fabio. He offered great advice for locations to visit and the best routes to walk into the city center. The location was about a 15 minute walk to the ferry area. It also was very close to the charming other side of the lake. The apartment is older but really cute and had all the conveniences as Fabio is very well organized. The parking was convenient too. The area near the houses of La Turr is very quiet nice residential neighborhood. There is a great supermarket just 8 minute walk. I highly recommend this place for a visit of Bellagio.

As Bellagio is quite hilly it can be tiring to walk up from the water level to the apartment. But the inclines are not too steep for most people. Wear walking shoes.

Spacious apartment exuding rustic charm

A spacious apartment, simply but thoughtfully furnished so it exuded rustic charm but had everything you needed and more. Good communication from hosts. Their lovely welcome included being sent a WhatsApp message giving all the info we needed for our stay. Welcome goodies very much appreciated after a long drive. Safe and secure parking. Washing machine available. We enjoyed the garden space for relaxing, eating supper and watching the swooping house martins

Homely, spacious, beautiful garden. Perfect spot for walking easily into Bellagio but to escape the crowds and have a piece of calm and quiet in tranquil area. We arrived very late but Guiliana sent us amazing instructions and was incredibly amenable in making sure everything we needed for our stay was met. Really recommend.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful apartment with lovely hosts.

Beautiful apartment on the outskirts of Bellagio. The hosts could not have been kinder as they met us on arrival and were so helpful with restaurant suggestions and things to see via Whatsapp. We struggled to find a taxi from the centre of town and I was with my elderly mother and Fabio came and picked us up, which we were most grateful for. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had a lovely balcony. Only wished we could have stayed for longer.

Quaint, relaxing, special place. Highly recommend.

The cutest apartment run by a wonderful couple, Fabio and Giuliana. They provide excellent recommendations for restaurants and activities. We felt like we were in an oasis filled with thoughtful decor and a serene setting. Like the garden of Eden. We stay in a lot of short term rentals and this might be the best ever. Highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again.

There isn’t anything bad about this property. It’s not in the old town section of Bellagio, but the foot paths to get there and back are magical.

I would highly recommend this apartment.

Lovely property only a ten minute walk from the ferry port and all the restaurants and cafes. The kitchen is small but very well equipped. We loved having French doors opening up onto our own garden area with garden furniture. Our bed was comfortable and we had a great shower in the bathroom. Fabio was around if needed and Guiliana answered any queries promptly via WhatsApp.

Comfortable and cosy home in the real Bellagio

The kitchen was well stocked. The home was very clean and well kept. Quiet at nights and really enjoyed having the garden to use as well. The shower and toilet facilities were also wonderful. Although the home is a 15-20 minute walk from the central tourist areas, I really enjoyed being able to walk amongst homes that weren't just for tourists, and also have easy access to a supermarket for home made meals. Friendly hosts. Thank you

Lovely apartment in peaceful surroundings within walking distance of the centre of Bellagio. Very homely with some helpful additions from the hosts, including chilled refreshments waiting in the fridge. Giuliana and Fabio also provided some excellent recommendations on where to eat and drink, to avoid the tourist-traps. Good communication throughout our stay.

Perfect and relaxing place on lake Como

The apartment is perfectly located about 10-15 minute walk from Bellagio old town and is on a very quiet street. The apartment itself is very spacious and well appointed. Its garden was lovely and we felt like we were in a little slice of rural paradise/luxury. The hosts are so friendly and kind and were very helpful. The parking on site is also very easy and a big plus! Highly recommend

The highlight of the property was the amount of space we got. It was a standalone guest house with a full kitchen, living room, full bathroom and master bed room. The living room had a small patio with a view of the mountains. Truly perfect. Bathroom was spacious and had good water pressure. Hosts were meticulous in cleaning, and the toilet bowl even had a professional looking paper strip to show that it was cleaned before our stay. No hairs or dirt all. Our hosts, Giuliana and Fabio were amazing too. Very friendly and responsive, gave us plenty of tips for the area on where to eat and visit, which was much appreciated. The kitchen was also stocked with beer and wine and even breakfast which we were told to help ourselves with, at no extra cost. The apartment is about a 10-15min walk from the city center, very manageable, but bellagio is generally hilly so do note. Overall loved our stay, and would definitely stay again next time we are back.

Perfect home away from home, didn’t want to leave.

Beautifully furnished and maintained, obvious pride and care of ownership. Photos accurate, kitchen well outfitted. Fabio, our host, was gracious and kind with a nice sense of humor. We loved the location since it was away from the hustle bustle of the main tourist area (15 minute walk) and was peaceful and quiet. Grocery store within walking distance.

Very comfortable and clean apartment very well located for exploring Bellagio and Lake Como area.

Very well equipped self-catering apartment in quiet residential area only 10-15 walk down to the pretty town and harbour area. Friendly and helpful owners provided plenty of suggestions for restaurants, super markets and things to see and do. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had all the equipment needed to enable you to eat in should you wish. There is plenty of outside areas to sit in the shade and a nice balcony with pretty views. Secure parking on site was also a big plus.

The apartment is located in the local resident area and it is easy to access to Bellagio center and supermarkets. Giuli and Fabio are very kind and nice hosts. They offered a lot of local travel advices and are always ready to help. The kitchen is equipped with cooking stuffs and jams, coffee machine etc for breakfast. There is a simplified air conditioning in the living room which helped a lot in the sunny afternoon. We could also use washmachine if needed. Overall it was a very pleasant experience to stay here and thank you Giuli and Fabio.
