Great location, very clean, good base.

Amazing location, so close to towns room was comfortable especially the bed, good facilities, tv, tea n coffee etc. Very clean if a little dated. The host Tracy was lovely and sent us a text of a list of lovely suggestions to eat out.

A bit noisy from pub down the road and doors banging closed, especially in the front down stairs room. No heater or window in the bathroom so there's a bit of mould staining in the shower.

Stay central in Alnwick.

Loved the location very close to Alnwick centre with nearby free parking. Comfortable bed, great ensuite too. A TV and hot drink making facility helps on the wet evening.

Needs updating and small faults as mentioned repairing.

Host provided excellent information regarding facilities nearby and contact numbers. She was at the property to meet us and she agreed to an hour earlier check in. Great location and free parking just at the end of the road.

Room was very cold on check in and overnight but did warm up once the heating clicked in. Room very dated with shelves and toilet roll holder hanging off the wall. On first impression the family room had a lovely corner jacuzzi bath but unfortunately no plug for the bath so we couldn't use it plus the jets didn't work even if we could.

Perfect location for a short stay in the market town of Alnwick.

Property is in an excellent location for exploring Alnwick and the surrounding areas and staff member who welcomed us was very helpful and friendly.

In one room the shower room and toilet were quite cold as had no radiators. The front ground floor room was a little noisy when the early morning traffic started.

Friendly check-in, and good comms in advance. Nice room, comfortable bed. Great location, easy to find and convenient free parking close by.

Given the lovely bedroom, the bathroom was sub-standard - blistering paint, smelled of damp, no shower gel only a hand soap dispenser.

Great pre Xmas stay in Alnwick

Fantastic location Central for town shopping, Playhouse, dining, near free car park and access to Castle & gardens ( for fabulous Xmas light show and Xmas market). Tracey was there to greet us and had popped extra heating on due to freezing weather outside so it was toasty warm. The main living/ sleeping area was just lovely and everything we needed for our night's stay. We were very happy with everything and for under £100 we would totally recommend - and return 😀

Location is great to walk to Alnwick attractions and dining.

No breakfast as thought. Used to be B&B and sign in picture of establishment says B&B, but they no longer serve food. Bathroom was mediocre, Hole under shower to earth, smelled musty. COffee maker was missing pieces and rusty heating element exposed. Single beds uncomfortable.

Good location and host, terrible sleep

Cute and well decorated. Located right by the Alnwick Castle and gardens entrance. Short walk to Barters books and high street.

The mattress on the bed needs replacing. It’s completely worn out. I had a terrible sleep. The bathroom didn’t have any space to put your toiletry bag on except the back of the toilet. Fine for one night.

You get value for money, comfy & homely. Amazing location cannot get any closer to The Castle & Gardens, right in the centre of town surrounded by all the shops + food places on the doorstep. Anywhere else providing this same opportunity costs a bomb. Staff were great! Tracy is very helpful, thank you for making our little boy’s holiday so much more amazing.

Wasn’t anything we would fuss over, as I say you get value for money so being picky would be uncalled for. (any reviews from people calling bits out aren’t down to earth & could’ve just paid triple stopping elsewhere to cover their concerns)

Great location. Pub round the corner, plenty of places to eat, shop and visit. I used it to explore Alnwick, and also used the buses for the Coastal and Castles for sightseeing and walking the trails

There was some mold in the shower and dust in the room, but they had a vacancy open, so it's understandable

Fairly priced and perfectly located

Perfect location, easy check in and fast responses to my text messages.

The room could absolutely be cleaner, the floor was soaking wet near the kettle and never dried up the whole time, not sure where this came from. The bathroom had an unpleasant drain smell and the room was dusty . The door handle is loose and the key is very difficult to get into the lock.

Handy base in Alnwick, needs a bit of work

Location is great. Communication is excellent and access excellent too. Comfortable bed, lots of room.

The apartment is nearly great, but… - television is in a really strange position! - the kitchen is under-equipped - the WiFi was really poor. In the end I had to use my network for a video call. - hot water was erratic

Location excellent, check in and out very easy

Room requires a lot of updating,cleaning and general work done to it WiFi virtually non existent, no black out curtains on veluxe windows so sleep disturbed as soon as it got light. Lay out of room not the best as if sitting in lounge area all cannot see TV.

I have never written a negative comment about anywhere I’ve stayed before, but felt I had to make the effort this time.

We were able to book at short notice. Good location and free parking nearby.

The bedding seemed clean enough but the room was not clean. Dusty, spiders/webs, and the bathroom had a slug in the sink and one on the wall. The shower was too small and in very poor condition and the shower hose was coated in thick black dirt like it had never been cleaned properly. And less than one whole toilet roll, with no spare was not ideal. There was no staff present from when we arrived to when we left, so nobody to ask for another toilet roll, or to complain to.

Disappointing

Location was brilliant, right in town centre. We were room only. Ate out, previously agreed. Went with two friends. They had a double room we had twin. Our twin room was very small, no cupboards but a good size wardrobe.

Shower room was tiny!!! Slight smell of damp. Could do with a deep clean. We booked for three nights but came home a day early partly because the Police were knocking on everyone’s door at 4.00 am looking for someone reported to be staying there! A bit worrying. Our Lady was lovely, gave us extra towels as they were provided but tiny.

There was maybe an issue with the plumbing as the bathroom smelled weird even though it was clean. Had to keep the door shut all the time!

Good position to visit family and the other attractions and close to the facility ie to have breakfast and dinner. Parking was good not too far from the guesthouse.

Would it be possible to ask the pub nearby to turn down the volume after midnight? Can something be done about the hot water. Never managed to wait long enough for it to become hot. Another chair would have been good

I had a marvellous time out and about in Northumberland but returning to the room was a let down

Cracked tiles in shower. One basin tap inoperable. Basin outlet partially blocked resulting in slow drainage. Fittings poorly fitted in bathroom. Ancient tv. Bed was on a slant probably because the tv was mounted on the right hand wall meaning people would sit on that side.
