Bedroom was well appointed, comfortable chair, usb chargers, pictures on wall reference local area, the shower was decent. They've thought about what the modern traveller wants. There were some water maintenance issues for a few hours on one of the days, so they kindly compensated us with a cafe voucher / complimentary glass of wine. This was at the Alnwick Playhouse next door, where they also have a dedicated member of staff who can assist with the accomodation queries and she was very friendly.

I could hear people talking in the corridor when they stand directly outside the door, however there were so few people in the building overall, this didn't disturb me in any way, it was more a general point that if I were to have a private conversation in the room, I would worry someone in corridor may hear. But minor point overall.

What a lovely gem to stay in. My room was very comfortable, and I really appreciated having access to a kitchen and dining area for shared use. The location was superb- right in the center of everything and an easy walk. The staff were great and very responsible when I had an issue with temperature in my room. I would definitely return. Thank you for a great stay!

Breakfast was not offered, which made the room poor value for money.

No mirror near a socket where you could use a hairdryer. To get hot water in the bathroom sink you had to turn the tap so far on that the water splashed over the edge.
