Very convenient for the ferry at Cherbourg.

The bed was comfortable. The bathroom is new with a walk-in shower. The breakfast was delicious. The host was very helpful. The hotel is near a large car park and the charges were exceptionally reasonable. We would stay in Hotel Napoléon again.

A relaxing one-night stay.

The staff member was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very central, close to many of Cherbourg's facilities. Despite the central location it was quiet which made for a relaxing stay. The continental breakfast was good value. I would stay again should I be in Cherbourg.

This accommodation needs TLC

Located in the centre, close to the harbour.

Very updated and sorry, - I would say neglected. The ceiling tiles were damaged by water in our room and were loose. The window in the bathroom had cracks and all the doors are damaged and no paint left. The beautiful plant boxes what you can see on the photos - only photos, they are all empty in reality. Very sad as it could be a beautiful accommodation in the historic building.

Cosy, friendly and central stop-over, ideal for ferry travellers.

We stopped off on an Inter Rail trip after the ferry from Ireland. This was a small, cosy hotel in a very central location close to a number of shops and restaurants and just 20 mins walk from the railway station. The owner was very friendly and helpful and the hotel rooms had recently been tastefully refurbished. Breakfast was excellent and the overall price very fair.

Small room, exposed wires in wall. If you just want a room for the night (which is what we wanted) it is good and cheap. But if you want something more comfortable, this might not be the place for you.

Decent basic hotel in a reasonable location. Staff were friendly.

Room was pretty small for two people, no lift. No bike facilities, had to pay for parking to lock it up. Only up certain hours. Plug points at odd location in the rooms.

Breakfast very good, friendly and helpful staff, great location with good parking either on the street or car park next door. I parked overnight and it cost just 40 cents. I would recommend this hotel particularly for a short stay if you are getting the ferry.

It was perfect for the price. Great location, comfortable room, nice breakfast. But the reason we would highly recommend the hotel is because of the truly wonderful staff. They were so welcoming and thoughtful. They also rescued us from an unfortunate transport issue, for which we were truly grateful.

A gem

Veronique was absolutely amazing, we were travelling from disneyland to stay with her, we asked to extend our check in time to 10pm which was no problem, we were running late with traffic to which she was so kind and again was no problem. When we arrived she greeted us with pure kindness, told us where to park as there was free parking around the corner, she also advised us of a place to eat up the road from the hotel. So so helpful ☺ we had a family room which was huge, it consisted of 2 interjoining rooms, a bathroom, and a wash room. It was so clean. There was fluffy blankets on all the beds and it was so comfortable.
