An excellent little hotel offering good value.

This was a gem of hotel. It is a small family run establishment, very well located near the centre of Cherbourg and is immaculately kept. The owner was so friendly and helpful, which made for an enjoyable experience.

The website could make it clearer that the free parking is not on site.

Great choice near ferry and old town

Good location a few minutes drive from the ferry port and in town centre. Very welcoming with space in garage for motorbike. Excellent breakfast Lift as far as 3rd floor. The hotel seems to have been more than one building originally so some rooms are a long walk and are all different sizes

The weekly market is in front of the hotel and roads are closed until 3pm - I wish we had known as it made arrival more challenging!

Pleasant budget hotel in good location

A warm welcome as always- I have stayed here before so know what to expect. The location in the centre of town is ideal and there is secure storage for a bicycle. Although central, the hotel is very quiet.

Well positioned, quiet, good value accommodation with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff

The staff and owner were really friendly and obliging, Anne kept in contact by email when our arrival was delayed so that we could get im to our room well after midnight, and let us store our bags the following day whist we explored Cherbourg before our ferry in the evening.

The bathroom unit in the room was a little basic but we didn’t mind as it all worked and had everything we needed for a restful night.

Great location

Location is excellent. We arrived by train and walked about 5 minutes to the hotel. Getting to the ferry port was also easy. It is also very close to lots of restaurants, shops and places to visit like La Cité de la Mer (which is a great place to visit)

We were in Room 1 which is right beside reception. Walls are thin and when people checked in or out, including early in the morning, we heard everything. Also noise through the ceiling whenever anyone walked about above us. The bathroom was tiny and the operation of the shower takes some working out. The shower is cramped and with the plastic curtain not a fun experience. And unless you are of short stature the toilet is really cramped. We cannot speak for the other rooms but if you stay here ask not to be given Room 1.

Friendly hosts and a central location - c'etait tres bon!

This is a lovely hotel with friendly hosts. The female host spoke very good English but ma maman and I had fun practising our French with her! The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the train station so was perfect as we took the train to Caen one morning. Also easy access to local buses, shops, restaurants and the gorgeous marina. C'etait tres bon!

Ma maman would have liked a kettle and cups in the bedroom as she missed making a cup of tea, how very English, ha ha! Also, the bathroom has a sliding door and no fan so it would benefit from a fan, as in the bedroom we could hear everything in the bathroom including the sound of the toilet paper being ripped from the holder!
