Great value for money in Cherbourg 15 min walk from cité de la mer

Room was very clean so was the rest of the hotel. There is plenty of car park outside. The “Equipage” restaurant is just a stone’s throw away, which comes handy. The hotel is in the marina, it is nice watching the yachts in the evening but it’s also 5 minutes walk away from the city centre, which makes this hotel pretty quiet, the best of both worlds really!

Our particular doors inside the room to the bathroom was squeaky, tough getting to the bathroom at night without waking up the partner.

A very comfortable stay

Our room was bigger than we had expected and we decided to have the buffet breakfast which was very good. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the centre of Cherbourg. Also a very handy location if you are taking the ferry.

Comfortable and convenient to the center, pubs and restaurants and shopping

Very friendly and supportive staff . Large comfortable bed and amazing amount of free parking in front . Short 10 - 15 min walk to the center many restaurants, pubs and cafes ,shopping. Much longer walk 20-30 min to the aquarium/submarine/ titanic experience museum on the opposite side of the port

Always clean, with lovely, friendly staff. It's easily accessible by the marina with free parking. Have stayed here for a night or two every couple of years for probably twenty years. It's perfect.

The location is great - close to city and ferry port.

A walk in shower would have been great. There was no grab rail to hold onto when getting in and out of the shower.

Perfect for our staff in Cherbourg before getting ferry back to Portsmouth.

The position was perfect. On our motorbike receptionist offer us to park our motorbike in the garden so it was secure. So helpful & obliging. Near to marina where we had lovely meal. Can thorough recommend. Quiet. Clean & tea & coffee.

Highly recommended central hotel

Central location and easy parking. Bedroom was spacious with lots of power points. Little extras (refillable carafe - iced water always available) put the icing on the cake. Breakfast was EXCELLENT!! Lots of choice, spacious and bright breakfast area. I had stayed here before but had forgotten how good it is. Staff all welcoming. Easy check-in and check-out. I had paid in advance (for bed and breakfast) which meant I only had to pay the city taxes when I left. Felt like a very good deal! Also , the price I paid was excellent value for money. If in Cherbourg in the future, I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended. Thank you to everyone.

Absolutely awful. A few yards from a noisy festival which we were not told about. Shabby carpets, awful breakfast.

The property looked really nice on the website. Very manicured gardens and the breakfast laid out in the dining room looked delicious.

The reality was very different. The garden was overgrown and weed ridden. The breakfast was awful. Would not stay again.
