Very friendly and welcoming and great for us as a small family at the end of a cycle tour

Secure storage was provided for our bicycles. Lovely and really helpful staff. Microwave and fridge in the room. Fantastic boulangerie just a few doors down and a really handy supermarket opposite.

A kettle in the room would have been really handy but that is the only suggestion we would make.

Good overnight stay before embarcation

Once you got past the drab exterior of the hotel and the dark brown corridors the room was very bright, comfortable and clean. The receptionist was very helpful and welcoming and the parking arrangements were very good - off road and private. The breakfast was fine and good value Overall we were pleased with our stay and the hotel is good for a stay before or after sailing.

The decor of the public areas are very drab. Our room was on the second floor with no lift - my wife has a mobility problem at the moment and we would have asked for a ground floor room had we known. There are no restaurants near the hotel (within walking distance)

1 night stay

The room was clean and bed was very comfy. The location amazing, only few minutes drive from the port. Breakfast nice too. Would highly recommend.

REFUSED SERVICE, DON'T STAY

I was refused service, it said on Booking.com that we would have till 21:00 to check in, I had been driving for 16 hours when I got this extremely rude lady on the phone telling me that I would have till 20:00 to get there as the reception would close other wise. Well in the end had to find another hotel late at night, tired, after 16 hour drive and had to pay twice the price, by the way no refund, my advice is DO NOT STAY HERE, go to an ibis hotel or sumthing helse as brit Hotel will refuse service even after you pay.

We wouldn't have stayed here if we didn't absolutely have to.

Once inside the room it was cleanish and warm. The beds were comfortable, and it was reasonably quiet once inside. There was a refrigerator and television. There is parking around the corner from the front door.

The place has no elevator, and we have a family member with mobility issues. There was a horrific smell of damp and cigarettes all over the whole place. It was absolutely toxic smelling. The shower was filthy. The staff were incredibly rude. My children were shouted at by a cleaner for talking in an absolutely natural tone of voice while walking in the hallway at 2 pm because "other guests were sleeping". They were literally shouted at for existing whilst under the age of 10 years old. We did not feel safe, there were strange men roaming the halls, and smoking in the hallways. It was absolute chaos. One step up from a homeless shelter. We only stayed because we had an emergency and would have had to sleep in our car otherwise. Please only visit if it is your last resort because there are surely better places to stay.

The back stairs in the darkest our only way in, no one in hotel to greet us lights going out in the hallway and we not knowing where we are going.

My Stay here was like o.k at least I have a place to stay.

The Location For getting around was Excellent. Grocery and Restaurants were extremely close. Good off street parking. But, the price for the room was o.k., not great for the duration of the stay.

The advertisement said we speak your language, They didn't. Communication was difficult at best. Clerk was not that friendly. I was there for 18 days they only Cleaned my room once. After I complained. they said because of covid19 but i had just stayed at another close by hotel That cleaned the rooms every day. without me even asking. They closed the doors everyday from like 9:00 am till like 5:00 pm you were forced to walk around to the back of the building upstairs to enter even if you were just out walking about.

There was no facilities to make a hot drink unless you paid to have breakfast. No tea or coffee in room. Mattress was well used that you rolled into the middle.

La dame a l’accueil nous a manqué de respect parce qu’on voulait savoir pourquoi payer les taxes à la sortie de l’hôtel. Elle nous dévisageait du regard peut être parce qu’on était pas blanc, l’hôtel est très bonne surtout le service de nettoyage ils respectent par contre la dame un peu âgée est irrespectueuse pas de sourire rien.

Séjour tout à fait correct, malgré la rue bruyante avec les voitures

Le petit déjeuner était tout à fait correct. Un petit bémol pour la chambre qui donnait sur une rue principale, et mal isolée, heureusement, nous prenons en général nos boules quies.

Revoir l'isolation des fenêtres coté rue, de l'air passait au niveau des fenêtres
