Exception visit

Amazing stay at the Hôtel Le Tiburon, very clean room, recieved a message about when I would check in, although I was unable to answer the room key had been left for me to retrieve at reception. The room itself was clean and comfy, the facilities in the room were great. I enjoyed a lovely breakfast in the morning which was well prepared and very delicious.

Room was warm and very clean. Breakfast was very good, plenty to choose from. Staff were very friendly and attentive . Will book again when in Cherburg. .

Small but perfectly formed!

Intelligently renovated. Attention to detail - they included a grooming magnifying mirror. Good tea/coffee making provisions. Complimentary shuttle to the port - we had 60+kg of luggage.

There was no fridge to store our own purchased milk - but we're being picky.

Very nice room, clean and well equipped. Good bathroom. Staff very helpful and friendly. Family run. Small place. Nice area, especially if you need to be close to the ferry terminal.

No elevator or other accessibility accommodations, no problem for us in particular, but could be for others.

I loved the fact this was a small traditional hotel as could be found fifty years ago, personal touch of the welcoming hosts so much nicer than impersonal modern executive places to stay.

Das verborgene Hotel-Paradies in Cherbourg.

Nach dem unscheinbaren Eingang in einer durchschnittlichen Gegend steht man in einer anderen Welt, in einem kleinen Paradies, wo alles stimmt, alles funktioniert und schön anzusehen ist. Der Service ist einfach menschlich, freundlich und guter Laune. Das Frühstück mit viel Selbstgemachten, hervorragendem Brot und einer Auswahl ausgesuchter Zutaten haben wir so noch nicht erlebt. Und dann noch die kleine erlesene Comic-Bibliothek, in die man sich tageweise einschliessen könnte!

Personnel très accueillant, décoration soignée et emplacement pratique. Ma chambre donnait sur l’arrière du bâtiment, ce qui apportait plus de tranquillité. Le petit déjeuner est bon et varié, surtout pour un hôtel de cette taille.

En entrant dans la chambre, une forte odeur provenant des canalisations d’évacuation des eaux usées se faisait sentir. J’en ai immédiatement informé la réception et le propriétaire est intervenu avec du désodorisant et un parfum d’intérieur. Cependant, le linge de maison était déjà imprégné de cette odeur, et même ma tenue de nuit l’a absorbée. Par ailleurs, la configuration de l’hôtel fait que le passage des clients et le bruit de la porte d’entrée du bâtiment sont parfaitement audibles depuis la chambre. Dès 7h00, ces nuisances sonores rendent le sommeil difficile, voire impossible.

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel très charmant pour visiter Cherbourg. Un accueil très sympathique par le propriétaire passionné de BD. Il y a un petit salon pour la lecture.

Bel endroit, bel personne

L'emplacement est à environ 15mn à pieds. L'hôtel dispose d'une pièce avec jeux de société, bandes dessinées. Le propriétaire est de bon conseil pour lr choix d'un restaurant. Le petit déjeuner est au top pour le choix et la saveur des aliments.
