If on a budget, here is a little gem

Good location. It's really easy to find. Okay, a little rough around the edges, but it was a gem to find. The staff were very helpful. Definitely got what I paid for. Double room for two.

The hotel was a little dated. Some may have higher standards than I.

Clean room and friendly staff.

The room was very clean, the breakfast more than substantial and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. The location within easy reach of the port, the town and directly opposite the train station is superb.

The shower clamp was broken and the bed mattress a little lumpy but these were minor issues that did not prevent me from being comfortable. It was a very pleasant stay.

Eclectic old hotel under renovation but close to station

This hotel is right next to Cherbourg railway station. The staff were lovely and breakfast was very nice.

This is an old building in the process of slow renovation. The interior is eclectic and seems a bit gloomy at first. The building and carpets showing their age but very convenient for the railway station if you're on a bike.

Extremely convenient location (opposite train station) after a long day travelling from Amsterdam, no frills good value

Very convenient location, just opposite train station, about 50m away. Simple rustic French small hotel, breakfast was ‘no frills’ French with as much bread, cheeses and croissants you could eat, with good hot coffee and requested hot milk.

If I was to be critical for personal preference, the bedding, pillow cases were a bit rough textured material instead of smooth soft cotton (not a major problem)

The owners and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They even spoke a little English. The hotel is opposite the train station.

Spacious, bright and comfortable rooms. The staff is really friendly. The hotel is in a handy location to explore Cherbourg.

The location, beside the train station was ideal for me. The room was spacious, there was a comfortable sitting area and the bed was comfortable. The woman on Reception was very helpful.

Pleased to find it close to the station. The room was clean as was the shower.

There was no kettle to make a hot drink after spending the day on the train. I did not read the small print when I booked. Otherwisw it was satisfactory for the money.
