I cannot think of anything negative

Central location with secure parking at a small additional charge. Friendly, helpful staff who respond quickly to queries. Spotlessly clean and warm. Good selection of hot and cold food for breakfast.

No kettle/tea bags in room.

Great hotel for a stopover before or after a ferry crossing. This is a no frills hotel but they do the basics well - comfortable beds and clean modern bathrooms. This hotel also has a small covered carpark which is great when you are carrying bikes.
No views from the room but not a problem for a one night stopover.

The bed was so comfortable. Location good for us.
Coffee machine in room, but just one coffee capsule and one sugar each. Had to ask for more.

Great location close to bars and restaurants. Hotel was in good shape and the room was silent, no noise from outside.
The double bed was pretty narrow and water from the shower did not stay in the shower room.

Easy to find from the ferry and the private parking was very welcome. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good.
Nothing. All good

Clean, and even tasteful. Good attention to detail. Large room, that was comfortable and attractive. We did stay there ten years ago but they have improved it greatly.
Not their fault but the location is a factor. Many run down or closed or boarded up shops in the street which have been ‘A vendre’ for a long time.

Very kind the staff and full of facilities: coffee machine with real coffee (in capsule), wide bathroom, welcome cookies (delicious!), good and secure parking (not free), helpful brochure for restaurants and sightseeing

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Good breakfast included a range of "Viennoiseries" (croissants, pains au chocolat, rusks, Scotch pancakes, mini-crêpes, etc.), yoghurts, three types of cereal, fruit salad, fresh fruit, plus four hot selections (scrambled egg, baked beans, mini-sausages and bacon), selection of teas and coffee.
The charming and quiet Parc Emmanuel Liais with its pond, fountain and glass-houses is a short walk away. The hotel is also just one block from the main seafront road, and a walk eastwards passes through pleasant old streets, the main square (where there is a market on Thursdays and Saturdays, if I recall correctly) and a number of cafés, bars and restaurants up to the harbour waterfront.
The hotel, itself, is on a corner of two pretty quiet roads.
We were there on a Sunday when lots of things, including restaurants, were closed. Reception were very helpful in recommending a restaurant we would not otherwise have known about, which was open and which gave us one of the best dinners of our trip. Reception also organised a taxi to take us to the ferry terminal on our last day, and granted us use of a spare Conference Room where we could sit and read and store our luggage till it was time to leave in mid-pm.
I'd be happy to stay there again.
Our visit was in a transition time of winter to spring, in March. The radiator in my room became slightly aired at one point (a faint warmth), but was mainly apparently not on. After stepping out of the shower and actually shivering, I mentioned the temperature to Reception. Apparently, the hotel thermostat for all radiators is set according as the outside temperature, therefore there was nothing they could do about individual heating of rooms. They did offer extra blankets for the bed, which was a considerate touch.
The only communal seating area is at the tables and chairs used for breakfast, though there are one or two easy chairs near to the Reception Desk.

secure parking for my motorbike
street noise at night due to local restaurant’s delivery services, Mopeds constantly , shouting and laughing etc. Good noise insulation in room though, but you have to keep windows closed.

Great location with plenty of restaurants nearby and a large Carrefour a short drive away - ideal for an overnight stay before the ferry back to UK. The staff were super helpful and responsive in reserving a car park space and providing directions to the hotel. Would stay again!!

Location, comfortable bed, decent shower, on site secure parking for €8 per day
Only one coffee capsule per person per visit - even if staying for multiple nights. We asked for one extra each and even offered to pay, but we’re told ‘Non’ in no uncertain terms😆. Annoying but very French!
