Our stay was beyond expectations, very comfortable and one that we would like to repeat.

The beautifully restored buildings. The delightful gardens. The delicious breakfast and the thoughtful provision of our leftovers for a snack later. The generous size of the rooms. The friendly advice of where to visit in the region.

The check-in time of 5pm we considered late but Emmanual facilitated our check-in at 2pm. Clarity about breakfast times would be helpful.

Exquisite

The place is a fabulous manor in the country side but a few minutes away from the city. The attention to detail was everywhere, from the room, to the breakfast and the linen and products available in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and we had a marvellous night of sleep.

This is a great place to stay with nice suites, very good breakfast and great hosts.

We really liked our quite spacious rooms. The reception by the staff was really excellent. We particularly liked the personal attention and the advise they gave us on things to see and do. If we will return to Normandy, we will definitely stay here.

Pleasant home like atmosphere in the French countryside...

Our GPS got confused ( perhaps the finger of the operator) so we approached it from the 'wrong' direction... I got the naughty boy look after walking into the manor; I forgot to wipe my feet ! Having said that, when looking around the place was spotlessly clean and neat...all forgiven and lesson learned ! Breakfast was delicious and even had freshly backed bread and a caramel Danish for my wife, so big she could not finish it. We did not ask for any hot food so I am not going to rate that . The two guys were very pleasant and friendly - we'll stay there again !

The shower in our room leaked badly past the door - I spent a good deal of time drying the floor afterwards; did not want water to run onto the wooden floors. Perhaps they want to have a look at the seals at the bottom of the shower doors ?

The whole stay was exceptional. The hosts are so welcoming and they have such a beautiful, clean and wonderfully tasteful Manor House. The breakfast was so beautifully presented and we had a different sweet or pastry each morning to try and do relaxing in the breakfast room with lovely classical music in the background to start the day! Absolutely beautiful stay. Would definitely recommend to couples for a stay away. Really good value for money for the experience. Less suitable for children.

We were on a business trip to Cherbourg, and it was a lucky day to have found this place to stay.

Excellent breakfast prepared by caring hosts. The manor has a lot of character and has been restored to high standards of craftsmanship. The size of the room and bathroom we stayed in was very large with a wonderful light coming in, and a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. My wife is an interior designer and really enjoy the care and the work the owners have put into restoring and decorating the manor. It was during the slow part of the season and the cost was really reasonable in a light of the value offered.

Honestly, I cannot of one thing I did not like except leaving this haven of peace.

Amazing

The owners/hosts are such nice and welcoming people. We loved it here and will 100% book again. Its a 5 minute drive outside of cherbourg centre and it's a beautiful estate. The rooms and decor is incredible. There is everything you need and more . The owners clearly take pride in the place and it shows. The breakfasts were incredible too! Cannot recommend highly enough.

After a long and difficult drive across France, the Manoir de La Fieffe was a very welcome break.

The breakfast was beautifully presented and we were accommodated with an early breakfast, which was good of them. The room was truly exceptional, spotlessly clean and the décor was stunning. A football team could sleep in the double bed it was huge. The sheets were clean and the bed very comfy. Huge bath, separate shower and toiletries provided. It was lovely and warm inside despite the huge room and the welcome was wonderful.

A cooked breakfast option would have been nice, although the bread and croissants were fresh and delicious. You need to be able bodied to get to the bedrooms, as these are accessed via a stone spiral staircase, which is enchanting and incredibly impressive, but if you struggle with stairs this may prove difficult. I don't know if they have ground floor bedrooms, you would have to enquire.

Delightful accommodation which we will definitely use again.

This is a great place to stay, it is delightful. The hosts are lovely and their attention to detail was extremely pleasing. The beds were very comfortable, the bed linen understated and good quality. Small things, for example, the nighttime water carafes were lovely and very thoughtful. The bathroom fittings were excellent and the products provided were generous and nice to use. Everything in both the bedroom and the bathroom felt super clean.The Cotentin Peninsula is worth exploring, there are some gorgeous and places to visit and lots of history to discover. The Manoir is only a few minutes drive from the ferry but once there is a haven of peace and tranquility and makes an excellent base to tour the area.Breakfast was well worth a mention, again the attention to detail is pleasing. The food offered is all delicious with just the right amount of choice for us. I enjoyed the Handel playing in the background too. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and will choose the Cherbourg route next time we visit France so that we can.

Assolutamente ogni cosa. Tutto ricercato e nulla lasciato al caso, ogni dettaglio curato con amore. Michel e Emmanuel ci hanno coccolati senza mai essere invadenti. La colazione strepitosa con frutta di stagione. Marmellate eccellenti. Il massimo sono state le ciliegie a cui è stato accuratamente tolto il nocciolo. La stanza ci ha piacevolmente stupiti perché molto spaziosa ed elegante. Ci attendeva un benvenuto con cioccolatini e dolci con un buon tè selezionato. L’esterno è attorniato da un parco in cui riposarsi Insomma se 10 è il massimo ci adattiamo ma meriterebbero molto di più. Non vediamo l’ora di ritornare
