I absolutely love the surrounding environment. It is tranquil and peaceful. I think the only drawback is the limited transportation available due to its isolated location from the urban city. Therefore, it is more suitable for travellers looking for a short nature getaway or looking for time away from the urban distraction. The room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfy and toilet was clean. Both the cleaner and host were very friendly and warm to the both of us too.

We tried requesting for more shampoo as there was barely left when we checked in. Thank goodness, it was sufficient for the both of us during our 2 night stays. But we did not get any replacement upon requested due to insufficient stock. Apart from that, everything was above expectations.

Lovely stay on idyllic location

We thought it was amazing to be able to check in early during the day as we went to the day festival in Werchter during the day and wouldn't get there until after 00.00. The owner was very flexible and let us check in before noon. The location was also beautiful and very peaceful. Free parking, mattress was comfortable and the bathroom well equipped. There was even a bath!

It was quite hot (29 degrees, night time was cooler but the heat was in the room) and there wasn't any air-conditioning. There was only a fan that wasn't very strong. The pillow was very thin in combination with a softer mattress resulted in a sore back. It would be nice to have a second harder pillow to choose which one you want.

Excellent in every way, but no aircon and low water pressure in shower

Wonderful area, pittoresque house-like hotel, very cozy. Breakfast was great! The room is clean, spacious and cozy. The lady serving breakfast is very kind.

The water pressure in the shower was very low, at times only dripping out of the showerhead. It didn't get fixed, nor did we get a compensation offered There was no airconditioning in the room, making it very hard to fall asleep (there was a heatwave).

Liberating rustic journey , close to Leuven, close to authentic farmlands and great hiking spots.

The host was not only credibly gracious and understanding with my late arrival but also took time to make you I settle in ok and that all my needs were met. I doubt you will find a better value-for-money location around Leuven. Immaculate gigantic room with all your needs for comfort met!

The place is neat and quite, friendly staff, we were allowed to check in more than 4hrs before time as we have travelled all the way from England , 10mins walk to bus stop and easy access.

Great stay

The host was very welcoming and friendly, the room was spacious and accommodating and a nice bit of nature. It felt safe and secure including the parking. I don't think you can beat this place for the price in Belgium. Recommended

a great place you remember and want to go back to again...and again....and...

It is a modern bed and breakfast with comfortable beds, clean rooms and great breakfast. it's only 15 minutes away from the center of Leuven and 30 minutes from Brussels. But since the location is on the countryside it is really quiet and during the breakfast there is a great view. Certainly a place I come to again when I go for a business trip or just a city tour.

Passable

I did not expect the room to be a "residential container" in an barn without a direkt view to the outside. Windows only faced into the barn. Had I known that I would not have booked. The toilet did not have a door. This is however a matter of personal preference. Room temperature was at 15 degrees celsius when I arrived. Took a couple of hours to get comfy.

A Beautiful Place to Stay

We stayed in a beautiful room, as large as a studio apartment would be and the the shower was amazing and the bed was comfortable. It was quiet around the area and plenty of parking available.

We had a little bit of a communication barrier with the onsite person giving us the keys to our rooms, but it was resolved quickly.

gelukkig maar voor 1 nacht geboekt

goed en lekker, maar niet overdreven speciaal , wist niet dat we dit apart moesten betalen. Hadden de filter met ontbijt aangegeven en dachten dat dit inclusief was

Totaal geen privacy. Er bleek geen deur tussen slaapkamer en badkamer met wc. Als je niet met je eigen partner was ( maar met collega in dit geval) was het toch een grote aanpassing en geen ontspanning. Ook de enge stalen buitentrap was een beproeving, geen licht en steil. Mensen met een beperking zouden het moeilijk hebben. DE verwarming deed het niet bij het zitje. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding is ver te zoeken.

Leuke plek maar te duur en in de zomer worden enkele kamers echte sauna’s

De afstand naar het evenement Rockwerchter in Werchter .

We waren er 3 dagen en hadden 2 kamer kosten waren 180 euro per nacht exclusief ontbijt van 20 euro pp. Dan zou voor ons 80 euro per ochtend bedragen hebben we dan ook niet gedaan. Het was erg mooi weer en daardoor was 1 kamer echt verschrikkelijk warm er was geen airco. De zon stond vol op te branden op onze kamer, kregen wel een ventilator maar die hielp niet tegen de enorme warmte . De eigenaresse zei ook door de grote vraag dat ze daardoor de prijs hoog had . Stond totaal niet in verhouding. Helemaal dat het zonder ontbijt was . Als we dat hadden gedaan was het 200 per nacht geweest zeer overpriced. Helaas kunnen wij dit niet aanraden

Nuit chaleureuse à la campagne

Nous avons été merveilleusement bien accueilli par notre hôte. L’endroit est chaleureux et calme. Nous ne sommes restés qu’une nuit mais serions ravis de revenir lors de notre prochain passage en Belgique.

Les moustiques… il faudrait installer des moustiquaires à chaque fenêtre. Cela a malheureusement endommagé notre sommeil. Quelques poils et cheveux ont été oublié dans la salle de bain.

Mooie omgeving, Leuven heel goed te bereiken met de bus. De studio is niet voorzien van een badkamer

Locatie was prima. Heerlijk rustig, goede bedden.

Wat erg tegen viel was dat er geen deur was in de badkamer. Het is niet prettig om je te ontlasten als er bijna naast de badkamer nog iemand in bed ligt. Advies; maak een deur. In bad kon je niet staan om te douchen. er was geen douchestang. Mensen die slecht ter been zijn kunnen hier geen gebruik van maken. De studio is alleen te bereiken via een trap. Dat moet ook vermeld worden!! Kortom zet dit ook in je beschrijving van de studio/ appartement. Het ontbijt vonden we erg prijzig. Er werd niet gevraagd of je voorkeuren had voor wel/geen vlees.
