The room was perfect and so was breakfast. The dinner was lovely too. Staff at reception area were lovely.

The service at dinner was terrible. The place wasn't busy at all, waited ages for someone to come and take our food order. We were a group of 7 people. Once we finished our meal, they never cleared our table. After a while we had to actually ask for a dessert menu, it was not offered to us after our main course. We also had to go up to the bar to get our drinks each time.

This place is like faulty towers without any of the laughs. The bathroom door jammed. The latch looked old and worn. Thankfully it jammed when I was outside otherwise I would have got stuck. I managed to put my shoulder to it and get it open. A staff member also showed up at my door to check the heating but it was obviously another room that had called to say it wasn’t working. The guests next door set off the fire alarm. There was a smell of smoke in the hallway so that explains that. This woke me around 10:30pm. The noise continued on and on from one of them knocking on their door to get in but I’m pretty sure there was no one in his room. I put my AirPods in and I could still hear it. At one stage I thought there was going to be a domestic incident they were screaming at each other that loudly and aggressively. I called reception but there was no answer. I went down to reception and there was no one there, just a phone and a note to call a number for assistance. I called twice and that phone and no answer. Finally, I found someone but it was about 1am at this stage probably later. How this can continue on and no regard for guests or their comfort is beyond me. I was home to visit my family for the first time in months and I cut the trip short because I had no sleep and no comfort. I’ve asked for my money back for the Friday night and checked out early so two nights. I was told I would get my money back from booking.com for one night but basically just fobbed off. Offered €150, which is not two nights and now no contact from the property since. Apparently it’s €165 to stay in Letterkenny on a Thursday night. Stay somewhere else because this place is full of bad staff and drunken guests and you pay the price for their bad behaviour.

Reasonably priced, lovely clean room.

We were freezing cold all night no heating came on as I felt the radiator many times during the night, we even looked about to see if we could adjust it anyway but couldn’t. This was the only negative from our stay that we were absolutely freezing all night.

I've stayed here before a few years ago, we went this time for a concert. Food is good an all prices are very reasonable.

Few things to be honest, rooms are very small but nice. The lay put of the room for the concert was terrible, just rows an rows of chairs, not tables to set your drink on ect it looked more like a cinema. The WORST thing of all, the bar staff, there was no oder, it was chaos. Took forever to get a drink, they need a lot more experienced bar staff. It would put me off going back for another event..

I have stayed here a few times, the renovation work in the hotel is amazing, the reception area looks wonderful, great refurbishment there as well as other areas of the hotel. Reception staff, very welcoming, check in made easy. We were allocated a lovely spacious room. Tea/coffee facilities, plenty of pillows, very comfortable beds. Ensuite facilities are good, plenty of toiletries too. We ate in the bar for an evening meal, very nice. There is another restaurant too. There's a health club (swimming pool, sauna and gym too.) Plenty of parking space. Would recommend this hotel.

Room very small not worth the money 146 euros no water in room. For tea . Look out the window dirty wall could have at least painted it. Plus no breakfast included. Rip off

In room 212, dust found on top of mirror. Didn’t look like it was clean for a while. Also on top of the shower head, covered in dust. Room wasn’t the cleanest.

The staff were amazing, always friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options and generous portions. I also really liked the renovated restaurant area and the new lounge-reception, which give the hotel a much fresher and more modern feel.

The rooms definitely need a revamp. They feel outdated and would really benefit from direct USB and USB-C charging ports, especially since many guests are here for conferences. Cleanliness could be improved too, finding a big spider on my pillow was not exactly a nice surprise.

You'll receive an email just after your free cancellation has expired which will inform you the hotel will be noisy with events and construction work. They won't let you cancel if this is not what you want. They will then lie and tell you that there will be no construction work. They'll serve underage kids copius ammounts of alcohol and allow them to run up and down the corridor outside your room all night while you're trying to sleep on your uncomfy bed. Next morning at 09:10 opposite the office with the cleaners puke still on the carpet. half the power sockets in the room not working including the only one the TV can reach, outside the window you'll get a view of weeds that look like they've been growing for years, broken pot plants and rusty extractor. Staff in the bar / restaurant slow and not interested (didn't know if the burger came with fries or had to be ordered seperately). burger arrived pink (which might be ok if the meat was ground onsite but seemed unlikely considering it tasted so bland)

The staff were very nice. The breakfast was excellent. The bar has a good menu and we liked the health club very much indeed. There is plenty of parking. I would recommend the hotel and it is the second time we have stayed here.

We initially got allocated a double room which was the size of a single room with a double bed squeezed in to an alcove. We had paid €110 per night for four nights for room only (room 305) - so we were disappointed.. We did get moved to a big room (room 112) after speaking to reception. So it all ended well.

Communal areas - excellent

Had to change rooms because of an awful smell, the corridors were extremely noisy until after 2am. Cleaners were on the floor making noise at 8am on a Saturday. Not a great experience, paid extra for breakfast, breakfast was very poor, lack of basics like butter, cups, sauces - under staffed.

Dinner was average as double cooked chips were hard and not pleasant but everything else was acceptable. Entertainment at night in bar was fabulous and great atmosphere. Staff serving dinner were super and very attentive. Breakfast was lovely in the morning.

The service in the restaurant was nice. The food, so-so. Most of the hotel staff were friendly.

I have not stayed in a smaller room for as long as I can remember. It was also in serious need of maintenance. It was worn and not very clean. I was very unhappy with my room!

It was close to the venue the conference I was attending was.

The hotel is outdated. The room was extremely small, had a very dirty carpet, the bed and pillows were uncomfortable. The hotel is rated as 4 star, but 2 star would be a more accurate rating. The staff at the dinner restaurant were unfriendly, the bar staff outright walked past me and ignored me. I literally had to follow them around to place an order. The hotel is outrageously overpriced for what it looks like and what it is grossly lacking in. The photos on the website are not an accurate representation of what the hotel is really like.

Extremely expensive for a room only stay. Guest in another room on same floor thumping and banging loudly at 2am.
