Stylish hotel next to the beach.

Excellent location with beautiful views of the sea even though our room was a balcony labelled as partial sea view. Staff very helpful and excellent extras in the room e.g. good hairdryer, Mini bar, kettle with tea &coffee, bath robes and slippers.

Smart Hotel, great location

Location was excellent, close to beach and shops, bars & restaurants.

The English breakfast was really disappointing having read some of the reviews. The beans were served stone cold as if they had been taken out of a fridge and the sausage was continent garlic sausage. The eggs Benedict were almost raw. Although not the Hotels issue, the local beaches are almost completely private with lifeguards/security staff guarding the sand. People just paddle along the beach if they don’t want to pay.

Great hotel by the promenade, with a fantastic, attentive staff

The staff here are excellent, and are extremely helpful and courteous, by far the hotels biggest asset. The room was comfortable, clean, and breakfast was great.

The only thing preventing me from rating higher is the price point. The room was expensive, which can be expected for a 4 star hotel. But, lacked the facilities that I would generally expect for the cost.

Very relaxed and enjoyed the ambiance and location. great for summer

Location was excellent and comfortable. The staff were very helpful friendly and excellent customer service especially at breakfast Matilda was always smiling and welcoming. Also organising car / driver from Viareggio to Florence thank you

A very peaceful, quiet hotel with comfortable rooms, excellent food and very kind, helpful staff.

The breakfast was excellent. Good selection catering for all tastes and you could have special dishes cooked freshly. We ate at the restaurant and it was a very good meal. Well cooked, generous portions and very well flavoured. A very good chef. The room (third floor) was comfortable and had good air conditioning. However, we first had a room higher up (5th floor) that was too hot but the staff quickly changed our room for us. There was no fuss and they couldn't have been more helpful. There was a bar which was open in the evenings.

Perhaps offer some other food during the day and put milk and tea in the room not just coffee and sugar.

Fantastic hotel with great location, modern facilities & beautiful rooms, great value for our money. Breakfast & bar staff were wonderful.

Receptionist could have been slightly more welcoming after a long travel, bit stern. Appears to come over if you are Italian you are treated better!!!

Luxury on the sea.

Good location on the seafront promenade. We opted for a large room with sea views, it was worth paying extra for. The breakfast was amazing, the best we had on the entire trip. Cinque Terre is easily accessible for a day trip.

We ate in the hotel for dinner first night but were not able to get a table the second night which was disappointing.

Extremely enjoyable, attentive staff made our stay

It was perfectly located for everything and the train station was a 10-15 min walk for exploring other areas.

The shower was a bit dated but it did have good pressure.

A Presadential affair

Viareggio is a place that we enjoy coming to and over the years we have stayed at various hotels. Hotel President is another excellent hotel to stay at.The breakfast selection is excellent and plentiful.

Nothing springs to mind as we were out during the majority of the time.

Excellent beach front hotel great stay close to beach activities restaurants and fantastic sunsets!

Location of hotel is excellent being very close to the beach and the beach strip where all the action seemed to be. The breakfast was very well organized, had lots of choices and the staff welcoming and accommodating. Offer of 8E per day parking during stay pass great. A grocery store a walk away. Sea view with best sunsets. Great eateries all within walking distance.

Really nothing. Suggestions: Parking options not directly with hotel. And would be good if they had someone to park as easily drove around for 30 minutes trying to find street parking. Had to pay for beach chairs and umbrella which was fantastic…hotel should simply charge in hotel fee and guests would feel they had ‘free’ beach access and if guest didn’t use the voucher then the hotel would gain.
