Nice hotel near the sea

The location is near the sea, the park is behind the hotel. Close to the train station and not far from Pisa. Nice staff, daily cleaning. Comfortable beds.

No teapot in the room, very basic breakfast.

Very nice place to stay. Big room and bathroom.

We had room close to elevator and it was very loud. Beach price wasn’t worth money. The extra fee for dog is really high compare to other hotels around.

Great location, friendly staff, very comfortable.

Room is nice and has a good size for 2 persons. Only the bathroom is a bit old but clean. The hotel did some little renovations and so it is still comfortable. There is even a little fridge for your own beverages. The location is very great, you are at the beach within 1 minute. The park behind is also very nice and you find quickly a rent-a-bike station. also the train station is only ca. 2km apart.

Breakfast: the rolls could be a bit better but you find enough to eat. The coffee is great, but you have to ask the waitress every time for another cup. I would love to chose a little can of prepared coffee. The staff is very friendly and helps immediately. It would be nice when the staff could at least speak basics of English. For us, it was not clear that we have to pay taxes in cash by check-out. We ordered a taxi and thought that we are paying the taxi but it was the taxes. Why do they not even prepare a little (written) explanation, at least via a translator?

Hotel Playa is an excellent option for someone wanting to stay in Viareggio on the nicest area and very close to the beach. We had an excellent stay and support from the people that work there. My only important comment would be that if you are a big person, or you have a big luggage the room where we stayed in would not be probably the best as the space is quite reduced if you need to have big bags open to choose clothes and stuff, and the shower box is a little bit tight, we didn't have an issue but it's something some customers would probably suffer if they are on that group I listed above, on that case you should check in advance the size of the room you are booking.

The room is too small, it's almost impossible for two people to move around. The shower place is even worse, you can not move at all when taking shower.

We really liked the owner, and loved the passion he had for his hotel. The breakfast was good and the room was very spacey (including nice high ceilings). We loved the balcony with see view.

The breakfast was nice, but there was no self-service. This would be something we would prefer.

Great location and pleasnat hotel with limited facilities.

The location was perfect - right beside the main promenade and close to many good restaurants and bars. You can rent bikes from the little park behind the hotel and this was great fun and easy with good cycle paths all the way to the nearby towns along the coast.

Breakfast was reasonable by Italian standards but some hot food items or even toast would have been nice. There is no bar so you have to ask staff for drinks which was OK but choice was limited. Overall there was nothing really not to like about this small family run hotel - it does what it says on the tin!

😒le camere troppo piccole e fredde, abbiamo provato ad alzare la temperatura ma l'ambiente era veramente freddo,i cuscini e le coperte da rivedere...il bagno da rimodernare...

Greit hotell nær stranden med svært hyggelig personale.

Beliggenheten var perfekt i forhold til stranden, butikker og togstasjon. Veldig hyggelig personale til tross for at de snakket lite engelsk. God frokost og deilig kaffe.

Hadde gjort det litt enklere om noen snakket engelsk.

Ein tipptopper Urlaub.

Lage top, sehr nah zu Strand und Promenade. Bequemer Parkplatz zu vernünftigem Preis direkt vor dem Hotel. Das Personal ist locker und freundlich - easy going.

Storen / Vorhänge könnten wieder mal erneuert werden.

Esperienza super positiva

Hotel 3 stelle molto carino posizionato a pochi passi dal lungomare con possibilità di camera vista mare. Gentilissimo tutto il personale, sorridente, semplice con cui poter fare due parole. Colazione abbondante sia dolce che salato. Camera misura standard, pulita con cambio asciugamani ogni giorno. Si può acquistare il voucher spiaggia con sdraio e ombrellone e 1 lettino. Parcheggio disponibile nelle strisce blu con acquisto ticket € 8 al giorno (che conviene ) . Sicuramente da ritornarci !

La struttura è molto carina. Lo staff gentilissimo. Le camere veramente insonorizzate, sembrava di stare da soli. Le pulizie fatte a regola d’arte.

La camera era veramente piccola, senza un terrazzino, con una finestra che dava su un cortile interno. Faticavamo a muoverci. La colazione non proprio variegata.

Hotel accogliente, pulito e personale gentile. Consigliatissimo

Hotel pulito e grazioso, con posizione strategica vicino alle spiagge e alla pineta. Personale disponibile, colazione ottima e abbondante, camera silenziosa e accogliente( sono stata solo 1notte e avevo deciso di prenderne una piccola). Ci hanno accolto sempre con un sorriso, un saluto, venendoci incontro su alcune nostre richieste. Il ristorante interno purtroppo era chiuso, ma ce ne sono stati consigliati alcuni in zona validi e comodi da raggiungere.

L’hotel si trova fronte mare e vicino alla pineta. Tutto molto pulito e il personale davvero gentile e molto disponibile. Colazione ottima e camera vista mare.
