I loved the hotel. It was very homey and reminiscent of beach rentals I had been to as a kid. The little front garden was very pretty and I enjoyed seeing cats in the lobby! Our room looked just like the photo- the blue room. It had an AC unit and a television with a few channels on it. Bathroom: We were provided with bathrobes and towels. The shower had excellent water pressure, and plenty of shower gel/shampoo. Bed: Essentials for sleeping (2 pillows, blankets- a spare pillow in the closet and spare blanket!) Extras: A very lovely little Juliet-style balcony that had a chair on it, some nights it was cool enough for us to sleep with just the windows open. Lovely. The shining star of the place though was the husband and wife team running it. They were so helpful whenever we needed assistance with taxis, food, any advice! A note as an American tourist- a new thing for me was that they request you leave your room key at the front desk when you leave the hotel for the day. This means that if you are coming in late at night you need to ring the bell, but it also means they know if you are still out! Different, but simple and very helpful. The hotel also has a 10% discount to offer at Bagno Milano, we loved it there!

The bed wasn't incredibly comfortable, but honestly, if you are just sleeping and plan to be out sightseeing all day, it really is just fine. For the location I will be staying again regardless of the bed.
