A charming, family-run boutique hotel in a great location, and wonderfully friendly staff.

We had a wonderful stay at this small, charming, family-run boutique hotel. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with incredibly friendly staff who make you feel right at home. We had two rooms, both spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed. The location is excellent—just a five-minute stroll to the beach. While it’s officially a 2-star hotel, it offers the personal touch and character you simply don’t find in large, glitzy hotels, which we much prefer. A great bonus is that the owners also run the lovely Bengasi Beach Club, where hotel guests receive discounts on sunbeds and food. It’s a fantastic spot to relax by the sea, and the staff there are just as friendly and attentive as at the hotel. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, charm, and genuine hospitality.

A fridge and a safe in the room would have been handy, but not we managed without so not a big deal.

Wonderful stay in a perfect location!

Travelling with my dad, We had a great time at this charming hotel. The location is perfect—just a 3-minute walk to the beach club and the esplanade. The rooms are comfortable and full of character, and the staff were kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. A tip: rent an e-bike and take a ride through “la pineta” to Torre del Lago, the home of Puccini. It’s about 30 minutes away and absolutely worth it—beautiful scenery and a touch of culture in one ride! Highly recommended!

Goose stay

Location was good just a couple of blocks back from the front. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very nice. Breakfast was good. Got a discount on the beach because we stayed here

Superb central location, two blocks from waterfront, in a quiet neighbourhood. Top cleanliness.

The online check-in is long, unreliable and its only purpose is to save time for the hotel’s staff. I wish there would be the possibility to opt out of it and do a traditional check-in at the counter. If such possibility exists, it is certainly not mentioned in the welcoming email message from the hotel. The bathroom is very, very tiny.

family style hotel in perfect location

the personal touch makes the difference. the interior decoration is also real chic. we had such a nice and special stay. we hope to be back (even though it is a bit pricey).

the bathroom was super small, manageable but do not complain if you have to go through the door sideways to better get by the sink to the toilet (on left with shower around the corner) or bidee (on right), all on approx 2,5 square meters.

Sweet little hotel close to the beach

The people were really nice, the building is very charming, close to the beach. Of course, everything is a little smaller, but we had a very pleasant stay and all we needed was there. Good breakfast options.

Always when I go traveling I am looking for hotels and guesthouses that have an authentic and cosy atmosphere, which I have found here 100%. The couple who run and own this place are just lovely, giving a warm welcome to their arriving guests and who were always patient and friendly whatever question you might have. The guesthouse has a beautiful patio in front of the door, decorated with light chains glittering at night, creating a romantic atmosphere...all the other parts of the house are beautifully decorated as well and it even have an elevator (surprisingly for the size of the hotel) which was a bliss after long walks. A plus: At the reception drinkable and cooled (!) water is offered for free, what a nice service on a hot summer day/night!

The owner were very friendly, politely and attentive! They helped as best as they could! The breakfast was delicious although the room was quite small for all the guest! The Cafe and the apple cake were fantastic!

The House is very bright and you could hear a lot of noices! Especially water pipelines seemed to be old and noisy! This was especially in the night very annoying!

we spent wonderful days there for carnivals festival, a beautiful view of seaside and warm surrounding in hotel, the ower is so nice to treat the guests, and provide the breakfast inculding the price.it's so comfortable to spend days here.

Clean and comfy family run hotel in a great location in Viareggio

Hotel Nice is a small property with personalized and friendly service. It is also very well located, close to the beach, the Pineta and restaurants/bars. Room was very clean and bed extremely comfortable. Hotel staff was very kind and helpful. Will definitely go back. Very good breakfast as well!

Short stay in a beautiful and cosy hotel

This cosy hotel is located very near the beach as well as the city centre. The hosts are incredibly hospitable and made our stay very comfortable. The room was clean, the beds comfortable and the atmosphere was great. The staff also made sure to provide high quality breakfast. We loved everything about the hotel.

Great little hotel in Viareggio. Quite close to everything. 2 minutes to the beach, 10 minutes to the train station (walking). To get to the public beach I recommend to take an e-scooter, walking was 1 hour. The hosts are super nice. They registered our car (Austrian number plate) online and we could park in the whole neighbourhood for 5€/day. There are a lot of good restaurants nearby. The trainstation connects you to Firenze, Pisa, Cinque Terre... perfect place for a holiday! Breakfast was outstanding. Due to covid there was no buffet. We had to communicate the day before what we wished for - and got everything in outstanding quality.

Our room was perfect for us as a couple. It is quite small, but for 2 people perfect. As we were only there sleeping, we did not mind at all. For chilling you can sit outside or downstairs in the lobby as well.
