Home from home.

Everything about this hotel is wonderful from the lovely friendly Cindy and her colleagues to the fabulous location. We were greeted so warmly by Cindy who went out of her way to find us a parking space. She also allowed us into the room early where we were delighted to find a gift of a lovely bottle of wine from the Management. The breakfast was lovely and we were offered freshly cooked eggs, a rarity in any hotel these days. I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel in the most amazing location if you are visiting fabulous Viarregio.

Great Location, large rooms, friendly staff!

The hotel has been nicely renovated, with a taste of the old structure. The rooms and bathrooms are large, and the air conditioning works perfectly. The staff welcomes you at your arrival and every single person there is nice and friendly and does their best to accomodate your needs. We particularly enjoyed breakfast with many different choices and vegetarian/vegan option even if we are not vegetarian.

In the Summer (August) the whole area is crowded and since there is no reserved parking, it would have been useful to have at least an option to pay at the hotel and park in the whole area around it, while every street requires its own parking ticket. There is no elevator to the top floor, just be careful if you have many luggages (it was not our case) to request a room at a lower level.

Our toilet was not working. The owner did fix it but it stopped working again after a few hours. I would have asked to move rooms if we were to stay longer

Bteakfast was good. They made eggs acc. To our needs and coffee as well. Very nice family hotel and good athomsphire. Owners are friendly and helpful. Their dog Jack is also nice.

Location, Location, Location!!! The rooms were so much better than the online pictures. We loved our stay. Closeness to the beach was optimal! The front desk was friendly and kind. Breakfast was lovely! WOULD BOOK AGAIN AND AGAIN!

Not the most cheerful place but on the plus side, it's just steps away from the beach

The hotel is located conveniently, couple of minutes walk to the beach. Very friendly staff, quick response to our request for a room on one of the lower floors. Parking was no problem, at a small fee (believe 6 Euro) for most of the day and night. Beds were good.

There was a bad smell hanging in the hotel when we came in. Same at night in our room but that may have come from outside since we opened the windows because the (old) airco was very basic "on or off" and was blowing too much cold air. Room has very little (= no) sound insulation. One socket near bed didn't work (we should have told the reception, sorry). The hotel clearly has seen better days in terms of maintenance and is now outdated. Breakfast was average but the coffee was terrible taking into account this is Italy. Staff is not to blame, I suspect.

Great place for short vacation in Viareggio.

Small and charming hotel with great staff! Very friendly, helpful employees (from reception to the lady, that brings you tasty coffee for breakfast). Super location - central enough, yet at the beginning of the promenade and not so noisy. Possibility to park your car around hotel for just 6€/day.

Everything was great, the team at Hotel Lukas were very helpful and helped us make the best of our time in Viareggio. Loved the room with great views of the local mountains and everything we needed to make us feel comfortable. Good choice of breakfast too. Spent most of our time at Bagni Dora, staff there are also great, very friendly and helpful. Overall we had a great time in Viareggio and plan to return soon.

a lovely viarreggio vibes

in the good location , close to the promenade & the beach bars with the access to the beach , good breakfast and really nice staff . room was clean and it has a little cute balcony & the fridge :) lady from the kitchen made a big jar of coffee for us , it was really polite and we appreciated it .

just a two things : kettle in the room would be nice , one of the blanket didn’t smell nice ( looks a bit outdated also )
