Poor customer service & cramped apartment
The location was great, in the middle of the old town. The Breakfast was good as well, certainly not like the quality shown in the pictures but tasty and the service efficient.
The pictures mask the cramped nature of the apartment. Spread over three floors, it doesn't have an adequate socialising space, but would be ok if groups wanted to stay separate. It didn't work for us.
The showers are tiny; don't expect to be able to wash your feet or bend down.
We ate out all the time, it is certainly not the right apartment for self catering due to the layout and standard of the facilities - size of table. limited space etc.
The code for check in was made available just after the official check in time and there was a maintenance man still present at the property fixing an issue with the toilet / drainage. It was in excess of 40 minutes after check in that the man finished and we were left with a horrendous smell which lasted for several hours. The top floor sink leaked in the evening , all over the floor and then through the ceiling onto the bed on the floor below. My daughter and her partner had to sleep on a damp bed. A maintenance man arrived at 8.45am the following morning to fix the leak which was certainly not the most relaxing lie in after a long days travel the day before.
In response , Hedera have apologised and the issue was eventually resolved but I have had no response from my complaint and request for compensation. The Office Manager has ignored my emails. I have received nothing for the inconvenience of the issues that disrupted our first day. Whilst I fully understand that the old town has old properties and problems inevitably happen outside of anyone's control, I do not accept that when paying in excess of £200 per night that I have to "suck up" any problems. I should reasonably expect the accommodation to be free of faults and if not, then alternative accommodation or compensation offered. The quality of service and empathy provided by Hedera has simply not been acceptable or good enough.

Family apartment in heart of Old Town
Good sized apartment over 3 floors in a wonderful location in the old town but away from the crowds. Very near Gundulic Square and Jesuit Staircase (now the iconic “Walk of Shame”). Plenty of room (3x double beds, 1 single bed), with 3x bathrooms, small lounge on 1st floor and a tiny kitchen and dining area on ground floor. Suited our family perfectly, but probably wouldn't suit 3x couples as 2 of the beds on the 2nd floor share a space. Breakfast was a bit of a walk away but good.
Staff were a bit brusk asking us on checkout whether we'd taken the bins out, even though they hadn't mentioned this at check in. Like everywhere in Croatia atm, eye watering costs!

Excellent location! Not too many steps to climb up although in the old town; and the property is in a very private and quiet back street.
This property has three levels. Hot water tanks are small on each floor; I had few cold showers and had to move to another floor in mid of showering. I did keep the boilers on whole day every day in case not enough hot water.

Everything was ok, the house was clean, the apartment has AC, two small kitchenettes, and 3 bathrooms. We had to call with the company that is handling the property in order to let them know we are going to arrive in 30 minutes.

Our apartment was very well located. All five of us were very satisfied with all aspects of our stay
Our breakfast each morning was delicious and beautifully served to us. We loved walking to Marco Polo and looked forward to sitting down in a lovely setting.
