Antaeus Old Town Residence

It was in a very convenient location.

Very central, helpful staff, vintage vibe.

There are a few steps to get there, and some more steps to go in the room. It's manageable with a stroller, if you're agile enough, but still a bit shaky. We can hear people walking on the street (literally, their steps) behind the window, but luckily there were no party-goers, drunk people, or loud early birds working there!

As maçanetas estavam quebradas, inclusive a do banheiro e do quarto. O que incomodava na hora de sair do quarto e trancar a porta. Os funcionários do hotel eram extremamente rudes e mal educados.

Central location.

We regrettably booked for 5 nights and there was no housekeeping at all. We had to request clean towels and for waste bins to be emptied after 3 days, which was undertaken. No change of sheets. The wash basin and bathroom sink had only drain covers not plugs so made rinsing clothes or washing cups difficult. I appreciate the building was old but the room was quite depressing, entered down steps and with no natural daylight. We booked breakfasts in the hotel which was a mistake, the food was adequate but the staff made errors and didn't look as if they wanted to be there. It was my error in booking the room and I would not recommend for anything other than an overnight stay.
