Antaeus Old Town Residence

Excellent location; there was someone at the front desk 24/7 if needed.

There was not an elevator, so we had to drag our luggage up and down flights of steep stairs. However, we managed. we are OLD people, and if we were successful in managing the stairs, younger people should have no problem.

Central location.

We regrettably booked for 5 nights and there was no housekeeping at all. We had to request clean towels and for waste bins to be emptied after 3 days, which was undertaken. No change of sheets. The wash basin and bathroom sink had only drain covers not plugs so made rinsing clothes or washing cups difficult. I appreciate the building was old but the room was quite depressing, entered down steps and with no natural daylight. We booked breakfasts in the hotel which was a mistake, the food was adequate but the staff made errors and didn't look as if they wanted to be there. It was my error in booking the room and I would not recommend for anything other than an overnight stay.
