Juuri sopiva meille kooltaan ja sijainti loistava. Petra tuli meitä vastaan saapuessamme joten ei tarvinnut etsiä paikkaa. Saatiin myös jättää laukut ja vaihtaa vaatteet ennen kuin huone oli vapaa.

Oven lukko oli hiukan hankala, mutta opimme sen metkut kuitenkin. Patalappuja etsimme turhaan, ne olisi hyvä olla kun majoituksessa on uuni. Ensimmäisenä iltana alapuolella olevassa ravintolassa oli hyvin äänekäs seurue, joka häiritsi nukkumista. Äänet kuitenkin hiljeni kun ravintola meni kiinni.

The location is unbelievable and you couldn't ask for better. The famous steps of shame from Game of Thrones is literally right outside your doorstep. The apartment is stunning. The living area is huge, there's two bedrooms, both with ensuites. The main bedroom has a big comfy double bed and the second bedroom has a single bed and a low kids bed. Both these beds weren't the most comfortable to be honest. The kitchen was perfect, with a proper oven and hob, a full sized fridge freezer, a washing machine and dishwasher. There's loads of plates, glasses and cups etc. I found it a huge inconvenience that there was no frying pan, trying to cook everything in the few pots wasn't easy. The WiFi was great. Being in a historic conversation building the windows were original to the property. The wooden shutters were great. With the windows being old they closed no problem but didn't seal to block out the noise, so it could be quite noisy outside at night given the location. So it was understandable and it wasn't bad where it kept you awake. But all in all it was a fantastic apartment in a stunningly perfect location. We were met at Pile Gate by the host who walked us straight there and showed us around the apartment. She gave us lots of tips on what to do and where to go etc. This was a fantastic touch. I would definitely stay here again

The only thing that I can say, not as a dislike or a negative but more as feedback are, The beds in the smaller room weren't the most comfy and the kids bed was small if an adult needed to use it. This room also didn't have air con and it was very warm and stuffy at night and it was April, so I would say it would be very uncomfortable during the summer. There was no frying pan or spatula, so cooking was hampered without these. It could be a bit noisy during the day and at night, however not to the point where it kept you awake. It was completely understandable given a huge tourist attraction spot was right outside your window. But I would highly recommend this apartment. It's absolutely beautiful inside and you can always brag that you stayed in Kings Landing. Advice for those visiting Dubrovnik for the first time, bring lots and lots of money and then bring lots more because you will need it. People say that Dublin is expensive, but I think it's not in comparison to Dubrovnik. . I found it to be much too expensive and felt it was taking advantage of tourists. Everywhere it was all restaurants, ice cream shops and souvenir shops. For example, a pizza €20-€30, a burger €16-€25, a bowl of pasta €18-€28, a side order €8-€14, a steak €38-€60, fish like salmon €28. A pint of beer €8-€10, a coke €7, a red bull €9. At an ice cream shop/stall a very small single scoop of ice cream cost between €3.50-€4.50. A coffee €5-€8 and a croissant €5 We did travel outside the city centre by bus and found a supermarket which was so cheap in comparison. For example, a can of red bull €1.15, Coke 500ml €1.15, a croissant 24cent, can of beer cost between 60cent to €1.10 and food included produce and meat etc was actually cheaper than in the UK. So I could see no reason or justification for such high prices in the centre of town, other than to take advantage of tourists. So bring lots of money

Alles war top, sauber, Betten bequem, freundlich empfangen worden, Lage mitten im Zentrum, aber nicht laut. Jederzeit wieder.
