We loved Dubrovnik in the off season and were super comfortable in this space.

Great host and location.

The location was excellent, and the host was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The property is right in the historic area, within walking distance of all the main attractions. One of the best parts is that it’s on the ground level—no stairs to deal with, unlike many places around the city.

The bathroom was an issue from the start. The shower hose broke, causing water to spill everywhere, and the drain wasn’t working properly. Fortunately, the host addressed and fixed the problem right away.

Great location on a quiet side street making it easy to pop in and out if between sights, restaurants etc. Comfortable and good facilities.

A quiet retreat just steps away from everything Old Town has to offer.

It’s a fantastic location. Easy walking distance to excellent restaurants and sights of Old Town yet far enough away from the main streets to be quiet. Very clean and modern. The roof patio is a pleasant place to enjoy a beer and a burek. Ismail is a treasure trove of information and very accommodating. I HIGHLY recommend his shuttle service from the airport to Old Town.

A few more wall hooks would be helpful.

Great apartment, easy to find and get to. It had everything we needed. Centrical.

A little noisy outside at certain hours of the night. Basically during dinner time since there are a few restaurants around, for the rest, perfect location. We liked the place.

Amazing location,comfortable little apartment right in the old town.Restaurants on your doorstep but up a quite little street so no noise.

The only thing for us really was the mattress we found didn’t suit us,but fully understand that it’s personal preference for different people.We prefer a firmer mattress as suffer with back problems.

Excellent stay right in the heart of the Old Town

These apartments were excellent! The location is very central with everything just outside the doorstep. We booked 3 rooms. / apartments to accommodate all the family members and every room was excellent. The rooms were just as described. Our host was very helpful and communicative. I would definitely recommend Placeta!

Great base to explore Dubrovnik in a great location!

Brilliant location, located in a quietish side street off one of the main roads in the old town, perfect for dipping in and out of whilst exploring Dubrovnik’s old town. The apartment, whilst small (we knew this when we booked it, which we were fine with because of the location) was perfectly comfortable and clean. Highly recommend staying here if you want a great base to explore

Ismail was a fantastic host, he arranged airport transfers . He also organized two trips out for us one to Bosnia and one to Montenegro, Emin the driver was very know ageable . Nothing was to much problem and the rooms location in the old town could not be better.

The apartment has everything we needed and the location couldn’t be beat! Ismail set up an airport transfer for us and met us right where we were dropped off, helped us with our bags. Shower puts water on the bathroom floor, no way to stop it. Has even caused a little mold on the bottom of the bathroom trash can that sits on the floor

Wonderful stay in amazing Dubrovnik

Incredible location! Close to everything, most of the major landmarks were less than 5 mins away. No crazy stairs or steps to climb with luggage to get there. Ismail was in constant communication with us via text while we were there if we needed anything. It was great the apt had a small kitchenette with plates, cups, cutlery, water kettle etc. We were also able to store our luggage for a minimal fee. Highly recommend!

A lovely apartment in a fantastic location.

The location is fantastic. Right in the heart of the old town, yet it is down a quiet street so don’t worry about noise. Our room was probably the smallest apartment as it is more of a Studio, but it was on the ground floor - so no stairs! Air conditioning was a huge bonus too. Great value for money. Big shower as well!

Great place to stay for Old Town Dubrovnik

The location is perfect within few minutes walk to Pile Gate, on almost flat ground, close to all the restaurants, activities, in Old Town. Property Manager Ismail and his team provided great services arranging transportations , recommending good places to tour and eat, making sure we had a pleasant stay.

The sofa bed in Croatia is quite different from the one in US. It is really small and short with the bottom part flipped up but without support. So it’s uncomfortable for a young adult to sleep on.

Perfect location, excellent host, clean, large apartment and nicely decorated!

Our host was amazing!! He picked us up at the airport. ( a wonderful extra service that he offers). Took us to the old town, he dropped us off at the gate and then after parking his car he met us at the apartment. Gave us restaurant ideas, city ideas, and outside the city tour options. He was so nice!!

Location from Pile Gate Interior is terrific—stone wall, windows overlooking alley, air conditioning. It was soooo quiet! We did not hear outside noise at all. Shared rooftop deck is awesome Host is amazing; although we did not meet he was so communicative and the entire stay was perfect.

Great location

Ismail helped me bring my bag from Pile Gate and was responsive and sorted things out when needed and in a timely manner. Brilliant location and no steps involved except to get to your room. Very central to everything. Probably good value for two sharing this room.

Apartment 1b does not really have a table that two people could sit at or to share a meal,barely room for one. The terrace (out the door onto the street and back into the building through another door) is in bad need of some care and attention, it felt barren and dirty. I don't think the view from any room in the property or the terrace are particularly good if that's something you're looking for. Maybe, because of the price I paid, I was expecting too much, not sure?

Location; shower was excellent; water pressure excellent; provided shampoo etc. Liked having area to store luggage.

Bathroom sink was extremely small; perfect size for a single -two people are crowded. Steps getting onto property are very high.
