Relaxed time in Montenegro

We visited during off-season, so everything was kind of quiet, and low-key. All in all, our room was comfortable facing the water and allowing us the feel of a true vacation! The hotel is clean and cozy, good air and nice feeling when you enter. Everyone is very service-oriented. A special shout-out to Marija, who is one of the two receptionists, and she is a GEM! Kind and good hearted, always smiling, assisting with everything we needed and searched for; definitely understood the concept of service better than anyone else--a true sweetheart! We are so thankful to have met her!

Dinner in the hotel was not enjoyable--food was not good, so we don't recommend. Don't either be lured into visiting their other restaurant (Bocasa) because there too, the food wasn't good! It is pretty obvious that they are in need for a much better chef in both their restaurants! Bocasa itself is a nice venue by ambiance and design, located right on the water and having all the right background for a good experience, however, this is rather deceiving. Food itself lacks taste and style--we spent a nice amount but eventually were left hangry! At the hotel they serve a menu for breakfast...??! which is strange. After a few mornings you understand it is ending up being all the same thing with different names. Bottom line is that breakfast should be served much like in any other hotel: as a rich buffet with a lot more food options and varieties so that all guests should be able to find something they like. We found it too controlled, lacking choice and in particular lacking abundance.

Restful off-season accommodation with few facilities.

The staff consisted of agile, helpful young people who were kind and helpful. The atmosphere was pleasant. The hotel is co-owned with several others and two restaurants and I can only recommend any of the restaurants next to each other on the beach. The cuisine is excellent and the staff are the same as those at the hotel.

The breakfast is not intercontinental, with a choice of egg dishes on the menu, which gets rather boring after a few days. That said, all the food was tasty. There is nothing interesting in the village, everywhere you should go by car, because cyclists are in danger on the road and there are no pavements. The bed was very soft, on a platform it was dangerous to get up and down in the evening - I think they did it to make it easier to see the sea when we woke up. The hotel did not organise any tours or services, at least not in April. A massage or a spa experience would have been nice.

Nice beach, nice food, nice people. This hotel is a combination of the good side of Montenegro.

Staff are amazing! Very helpful and very friendly. They made our beautiful vacation even better! The room was very comfortable. Lunch and dinner plates are delicious, breakfast has some space for improvement, though very sufficient. Summer prices are a bit at the higher end, but at the end of our stay we were already satisfied with everything that we could omit that.

Lovely hotel

Lovely room and staff (especially receptionists!) very friendly. A great few nights stay to relax on the beach. Very good location to chill out as not much in the surrounding areas without a car.

The breakfast wasn’t great compared to how good the rest of the hotel was. The service was also incredibly slow all round- we would have to get up and ask for drinks etc they seemed to be short staffed in relation to waiters. The food we had at the restaurant was the worst meal in our 2 week holiday. A lot of the facilities weren’t working (sauna and wellness for example) which we weren’t told about until we asked about booking massages.

A lovely boutique hotel in Herceg-Novi, Montenegro

Perfect boutique hotel!!!!! Very good location, in front of the hotel is a private beach with sunbeds and umbrellas. A small pool in the hotel for those who don't want to be exposed to the sun. Clean and comfortable rooms with balconies. We were there for a total of 3 nights and enjoyed every moment!! The room, the restaurant, the hospitality, the help in finding attractions, the relaxed atmosphere, the stunning staff are interested in the well-being of the guests and try very hard to satisfy all requests. My wife had a birthday on the last day of our stay and the hotel made a cake in her honor that we took on the flight home.... We loved it!!!” It is recommended to take the 9 hour cruise. Tiring but extremely worth it

A lovely boutique hotel with standout staff!

The staff were absolutely brilliant! Aleksandar and Pavelina at the front desk were lovely and super helpful, there was nothing that we asked for that they couldn't help with. Every single member of staff at hotel was very friendly and welcoming and made our stay a memorable one. They were thoughtful enough to arrange for a cake to be made for my birthday and even put balloons in the room as a surprise which I really appreciated! The view from the room we stayed in was stunning and the hotel sits right on the beach which is more than ideal as we were seconds away from the water. I would 100% recommend this hotel to all my friends and family and I can't wait to return! There is nowhere else that I would want to stay when I come back!

The staff at the hotel are just lovely, helpful before our trip and during our trip, nothing was too much trouble, friendly and inviting. Hotel is really nice, very clean and modern looking, amenities are great. Resturant food was really good and breakfast was tasty with good options. Perfect location fo us as a base to hire a car and see the country and also to visit Croatia. There are parking spaces you can use. There is a jetty for guests to use on the sea/beach, compact but nice loungers and if you want a bigger space there are 2 beaches with facilities in walking distance.

The fact that we were out of season and the swimming pool had not started yet. Just to mention that even if it was in the seadon, the swimming pool was very small too, but the sea is just there, so can dip into it instead

Extremely beautiful and pleasant stay

We got upgraded to Casa Del Mare Mediterreano, their 5 star hotel which is an amazing property! Anything that I write here will be less to explain how beautiful the property is. The handwritten note in every room gives a personal touch.. the property is well equipped with everything you need to make your vacation pleasant. Breakfast has plenty of options with a combination of buffet and A la Carte. The staff is extremely friendly and they go out of their way. The view of the sea from the balcony is very soothing and nice. We loved our stay and would love to come back some day!
