We stayed for two nights as visiting friends in the area. Hotel staff very friendly and accomodating. Our dog, and we, were made very welcome. Breakfast was excellent and a lot of effort (home made food) went into preparing it. Rooms were as expected plus a small canteen with refridgerated drinks on the floor we stayed on was very handy. A couple of minutes walk to the centre of old town Ahrweiler where there are more than enough restaurants, cafes and pubs. Great dog walks up in the vineyards and by the river as well.
