Hidden gem in the Ahr Valley and a top choice

Quiet area. Spacious rooms. Excellent beds. All is there: bathrobes, shoespoon, minibar. Absolute top breakfast. Very nice staff. This is one of the very best hotels to be found. Superb sauna free of charge. Rates are, in my view, modest.

Best hotel in Ahr

We've been to around 10 hotels/accommodations in Ahrtal and this is the best hotel so far. Staff were friendly, room was exceptional and larger than other hotels, breakfast was worth the price they charge. They offer refreshing prosecco, local cheeses, different eggs, and good quality bread and cakes!

Exceptional

A wonderful, intimate hotel in the Ahr region. A very friendly and smiling staff. A spacious room (40m2), a well-equipped kitchenette, a view from the terrace on the vineyards. We visited many wine regions, however, it was only in Ahr that we had 3 glasses for a couple at our disposal: a white wine, a red wine and a champagne glass. An amazing wedding anniversary in a place like this. We will certainly come back.

Everything is just perfect. Received an upgrade to the newer area, which is magnificent. Large room, quiet, nice large beds. Lovely breakfast. Could not be any better. Very friendly staff - personal touch!

Ahrweiler ist eine Reise wert

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet Badezimmer großzügig Toilette separat Bett war sehr bequem und auch für große Menschen geeignet, wegen seiner Länge

TV und Duschkopf waren etwas unterdimentioniert

Im Ahrtal kann man wieder Urlaub machen, obwohl immer noch viel zu tun ist.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Auf der Terrasse störten nur die Wespen. Die Lage, gleich am Bahnhof Walportzheim, ist hervoragend. Die Bahn fährt wieder!!

An dem Bahnhof wurde noch gearbeitet. Aber das muss wohl sein. Es war zeitweise sehr laut. Aber bei geschlossenem Fenster hört man Nichts,

Ein perfekter Kurzurlaub den man mit allen Sinnen genießen konnte.

Die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter waren ohne jede Ausnahme in allen Belangen perfekt. Es war immer ein lächeln auf Ihren Lippen zu sehen, einfach grandios. Es ist vielleicht nicht das preiswerteste Hotel, aber wenn man die Vorzüge die man bekommt zu schätzen weiß, ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut.

Nichts!!! Es gab einfach nichts zu bemängeln an diesem Hotel.

leuke vakantie gehad, jammer van de veel te warme kamer en het veel te dure restaurant.

Heel vriendelijk personeel, mooie grote kamer, lekker ontbijt, fijn terras met voortreffelijke bediening (jammer dat de prijslijst niet meer juist was...)

Geen airco, 2 dagen een zeer warme kamer gehad. Slapen was echt een probleem. Het restaurant was zeer duur voor heel gewoon eten. Ca. 95 € voor 2 schnitzels, een schoteltje frieten en wat veenbessenconfituur, een glas lekkere rosé en een lauw biertje is wel heel erg overdreven. We hebben nadien elders lekkerder gegeten voor de helft van de prijs. Erg jammer!

Wir kommen wieder und nehmen beim nächsten Mal ein Zimmer mit Balkon

Überaus freundliche und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter.innen , sowohl an der Rezeption als auch im Frühstücksbereich . Besonderes begeistert war mein Mann von dem Barkeeper! Die wundervolle Terrasse und der tolle Garten mit Bäumen lud zum verweilen ein. Das Frühstücksbüffet lässt keine Wünsche offen.

Geweldige kamer. Met Sinterklaas een choco kerstman voor de deur.

Alles beviel; de afstand tot Ahrweiler, ca 1600 meter, lopen, wat minder. Hoewel je met en bon van de Kreis Ahrweiler gratis met het ov kunt reizen.
