Amazing hotel! The rooms are comfortable and the hotel is well situated to be able to walk into the square. We ate at the restaurant as well and our meal was delicious.

Comfort and Character in the Heart of Ahrweiler

Hotel Rodderhof is a charming and welcoming place to stay in the picturesque town of Ahrweiler. The hotel features a lively and inviting inner courtyard — a great spot for socializing and enjoying the cheerful atmosphere. The breakfast buffet is generous and varied, offering plenty of delicious options to start your day right. We also appreciated the secure paid parking garage, which includes two EV charging stations — very convenient for electric car travelers. Our room was beautiful, with a stylish bedroom and a wonderfully comfortable bed. It’s also truly impressive how well the hotel has recovered after the devastating floods of 2021 — everything looks fresh, welcoming, and professionally restored. All in all, a great stay with a perfect mix of comfort, character, and convenience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Ahr Valley!

The only point for improvement would be the bathroom, which could use a modern refresh.

Lovely old hotel with large entrance courtyard. Comfortable rooms, decent size. Excellent breakfast and we also had a very nice evening meal. Staff very friendly and spoke good English

It was satisfying to feel that you are supporting a community still in recovery mode.

Good breakfast selection and the good weather meant it could be taken outdoors. Good to see the hotel and the town recovering from the flood damage although there is still much to do.

The town and the Hotel are old cultural buildings so it is too much to expect air conditioning but is was very hot.

Gemischte Gefühle zu diesem Hotel

Die Zimmer sind groß, das Ambiente schön und das Frühstück gut.

Ich stand erstmal 10 Minuten an der Rezeption und klingelte mehrfach, ohne dass jemand kam. Dann wurde sich nicht entschuldigt. Das Bad war nicht ordentlich gesäubert (Haar und Staub am äußeren Rand der Toilettenbrille) und der Preis für die Tiefgarage ist schon ganz schön happig. Nebenbei ein Riesenbsustelle im Innenhof, vor der zwar gewarnt wurde. Dies aber ohne Goodie (und wenns nen Stück Schoki auf dem Kopfkissen gewesen wäre) einfach dabei belassen.

Schönes Wochenende - immer wieder !!!

die herzliche familiäre Atmosphäre , das ausgesprochen freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal und die ausgezeichnete zentrale Lage; die Frühstückszeit bis 11 Uhr und das späte aus Checken.

Das Nachlegen am Frühstücksbüffet war sehr schleppend. Am Samstag ca. 9.45 Uhr gab es bis Schluss kein Rührei und kein Bacon mehr; am Sonntag gab es keinen rohen Schinken und 1 Scheibe Fleischwurst. Nachdem ein Gast die Platte komplett leer gemacht hatte, wurden die übrigen Platten zusammen geschoben und nichts mehr gebracht.

Wir kommen wieder !

Die Lage ist super , nur einige Minuten bis zum Zentrum oder zu den umliegenden Weinwanderwegen. Parkplatz auch in unmittelbarer Nähe vor dem Stadttor.24 Std. Kosten 5€, also vollkommen in Ordnung. Der Innenhof ist im Sommer sicherlich noch ein weiteres Highlight, sowie die gesamte geschichtsträchtige Hotelanlage, die nach der Flutkatastrophe vorbildlich wieder hergerichtet wurde.

Das Frühstück sehr reichhaltig, es gab jedoch nur eine Kaffeemaschine zur Selbstbedienung , und das ist etwas ungünstig ; vielleicht könnte man vom sehr freundlichen Servicepersonal alternativ kleine Warmhaltekannen mit Kaffee auf den Tisch stellen lassen.

Es ist noch nicht allertage Abend, wir kommen wieder -keine Frage.

Das Frühstück hat unsere ERwartungen erfüllt, war gut, der Kaffee hervorragend und die Auswahl an Käse und Wurst sowie Gelees sehr gut. Der Honig aus den Waben - Spitze - Knuspriges Brot, da brauch ich keine Semmeln.

Wir hätten mehr Tage haben müssen, aber das Wetter _ Durchwachsen. Ansonsten keine Beanstandungen.

De looks

Geen airco, slechte waterdruk in de douche. Dunne kleine handdoeken en te weinig 4xemplaren De bestelde garageplaats bleek niet gegarandeert te worden. Als je laat huiskomt hebben anderen denpkaats genomen. Verder is er geen zorg voor kwaliteit. Verder doet iedereen wat die moet doen niets extras. Een receptioniste raapt natuurlijk geen papiertje op in de gang, al loopt ze er twee keer langs.

Fijne binnenplaats om ‘s avonds nog even te zitten en een glas Ahrwijn te drinken. Goede kamer en uitgebreid ontbijt. Midden in het stadje.

De badkamer mag wel iets zorgvuldiger gepoetst worden.

Wunderschöner Kurzurlaub. Kommen bestimmt wieder !!!

Frühstück sehr reichhaltig und vielfältig. Zimmergröße und Ausstattung sehr gut. Günstige und zentrale Lage am Rand der Altstadt. Ausgezeichnet und sehr modern ist die Sauna mit verschiedenen Saunen und optimalen Ruheräumen.

Alles was, zoals gewoonlijk, super professioneel, super goed!!!

Wij waren daar op een speciale feestdag. Een middeleeuws schuttersfeest waardoor de Winkels gesloten waren waardoor ik voor ob z e kinderen geen cadeautje kon kopen. Ik hoop nu met de Kerst met onze kinderen weer terug te gaan naar dit fantastische hotel@!!!

Familiär und idyllisch, das Personal war sehr hilfsbereich und engangiert

Die idyllische Atmosphäre und die Freundlichkeit des Personals war total angenehm. Wir mussten spontan unseren Plan umändern, auf Grund eines Unwetters. Das Personal war so engagiert und kooperativ und hat uns geholfen einen Plan B zu gestalten. Das war echt nicht selbstverständlich. Die Lage des Hotels ist super und ein Parkplatz ist durch die Tiefgarage so gut wie garantiert. Wir kommen gerne wieder - eine absolute Empfehlung.

Das Essen war OK. Der Grillabend war super. Das Frühstück erstklassig.

Die Zimmer wurden nur auf Bestellung gemacht und das nur sehr halbherzig. Nach dem 1. Tag kam niemand. Am 2. Tag haben wir reklamiert, da war wohl jemand da und hat die Mülleimer geleert, jedoch die Handtücher wieder nicht gewechselt, obwohl sie nun schon das 2. Mal in dem Waschbecken lagen. Für ein 4 Sterne Hotel ein No Go.
