Very familiar atmosphere, friendly and very supportive staff, self-service of drinks, quiet room and atmosphere in spite of location close to the station, good breakfast including large choice of fruits.

Difficult to use the historic wooden stairs without creating significant noise. Very little storage space in the room.

The staff was very friendly. We also received good recommendations about what to do in the surroundings. The location is good if you want to visit the Ahr valley. Everything was clean. Varied breakfast (but no croissant or sweet pastery). Free parking in front of the hotel. Train station in front of the hotel (for those who need it). Nice atmosphere in the hotel.

The room wasn’t really big and it was hot. You can open both windows, but there was quite some noise in the street at night (on a Tuesday) so we had to close them in the middle of the night. The double bed was actually two seperate boxspring beds put together. The top matress moved a lot, which was annoying. Quite some stairs to climb to our bedroom on the second floor (could be annoying with heavy bags or if you are not fit).

Expensive for what is on offer.

Friendly famliy run business with a arm welcome.

For the price, the cleanliness was lacking. Radiator was full of dust, not cleaned for a long time. The housekeepers forgot first day to provide second towel and then second night left the cleaning cloth on the chair. Normally would not matter, but being a 3 star hotel I would expect better. Also, not even a free water bottle in the room. There was a price tag on it. Noisy with the room by the main road.

Wonderful owners, wonderful hotel, can't wait to stay again!

Everything about this hotel is fantastic, from the amazing room (with whirlpool bath!), to the honesty bar stocked with wine and beer, to the hospitable and kind family running it. The breakfast also deserves a special mention, so much to choose from and so well done for COVID times. Also again, the staff couldn't be more helpful and kind - even ringing our room one morning to check we definitely didn't want breakfast before they packed everything away! Oh, and a great location for exploring the Rotweinwanderweg - literally opposite the train station.

We didn't find anything that we didn't like - the only tiny (and it is tiny!) issue is the lack of air conditioning meant it could be quite warm in the room at night, but keeping the window open helped and it definitely wouldn't stop us staying again.

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Hotel, unfassbar schön dekoriert, super netter Empfang und obwohl wir die einzigen Gäste waren, ein Frühstücksbuffet bei dem es an nichts mangelte. Danke, wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder!!!

Schönes, sehr geräumiges Appartement, zentrale Lage und trotzdem ruhig, ausgesprochen freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber, gutes und ausreichendes Frühstück. Alles in allem sehr zhu empfehlen.

Etwas beengte Dusche innerhalb der Badewanne.

Viele schöne Dinge/Deko die ineinander verschmelzen und einem bezauberten Ambiente den Aufenthalt unvergesslich macht. Auch das Frühstück war mit viel Liebe angerichtet. Hier waren wir nicht das letzte Mal und würden es jederzeit weiterempfehlen. Danke ;)

Unser Zimmer war großzügig ausgestattet (Komfort Doppelzimmer). Das Frühstück war sehr gut - reichlich Auswahl, die auch immer wieder frisch nachgelegt wurde. Die Inhaber und die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
