Excellent and comfortable hotel

Very comfortable hotel furnished in traditional style with all comforts that it entails - proper full sized wardrobe, spacious room, comfortable bed. Superb restaurant and wonderful views.

Fine for a short stay

The hotel was set high in the vineyards with magnifient views. The staff were friendly and attentive. The wine list was extensive. The restaurant was comfortable with good views.

The food was expensive with not a great deal of choice. It was however well prepared and presented. The drive up to the hotel was on a single track road with tight hair pin bends. Could be tricky!

The hotel boasts a breathtaking view over the rolling vineyards — a setting of pure tranquility and quiet charm. Should you not yet have reserved dinner, I warmly suggest you do so. Service is attentive and efficient, while each dish, from the first course to the last, delivers refined flavors with unwavering consistency. The wine selection is excellent, with the rare pleasure of being able to enjoy good ones by the glass, should you prefer not to order a full bottle. My wife is gluten-intolerant, and at both dinner and the sumptuous breakfast she was offered thoughtful alternatives that made her feel fully included despite her dietary needs. Do mention such requirements at the time of booking, in advance. Convenient on-site parking is available. The property is delightfully pet-friendly, with ample grounds for leisurely walks. We are eager to return in the magic of winter.

It was a pleasant stay.

The Hotel is overlooking its town and it was a magnificent view, the room was superb and complete with amenities, and the staff was accommodating and always there when you need a hand ( they helped us to park 😂). The breakfast was great, and while dining we have the luxury to enjoy the scenery. The total cost of our stay is reasonable

What we don't like was, it was a short stay, we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the scenery.

Nice location and breakfast with a view. Close to the old bunker complex.

Staff seems to be working against their will here. Except for one person, everybody seemed super grumpy. Service with a smile is not part of the concept. Would be good to have vegetarian options on the restaurant menu as well. It is 2022 where people want something different than dead animals.

Well run beautiful Hotel, great scenic location.

Beautifully run hotel with excellent views terraces and exceptional staff. We normally stay in Mayschoss but the disaster meant we came here to support the valley. The hotel was excellent so we will have difficulty choosing in future years. Breakfast was excellent in super surroundings.

We hadn't realised the restaurant was closed but the staff told us a good place to go.

The stunning view from our room was amazing. Despite the cold outside, and even snow, the room was lovely and warm. Breakfast was as expected, especially the scrambled eggs and bacon. Dinner was exceptional, and the wine list was extremely varied. We enjoyed our five night stay.

Nothing really. It would have been nice to be able to make tea/coffee in the room.

Ein toller Aufenthalt

Die Lage ist wirklich fantastisch und das Personal sehr nett. Das Zimmer mit Panoramablicke ist den doch Recht geringen Aufpreis mehr als wert. Das Frühstück bietet sehr viel Auswahl, alles ist frisch und super Lecker. Die Zimmer können komplett verdunkelt werden.

Einziges kleines Manko: im ersten Stock hat man die Musik aus dem darunter liegenden Restaurant leider recht laut gehört bis Mitternacht (zumindest in meinem Zimmer)

De locatie van het hotel met onbelemmerd uitzicht over Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler is schitterend.

Kleine badkamer en heel kleine douche. Er zijn blijkbaar kamers met grotere douche. Vragen bij reservatie lijkt aangewezen. De prijzen in het restaurant zijn behoorlijk stevig.

Zeker een aanrader

Mooie locatie. Prachtig pand met een klassiek duitse inrichting. Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw die heel behulpzaam was bij het vinden van een geschikt restaurant dat op 1 januari open was. Mooie plek om de rotwein wanderweg te lopen.

Het enige minpunje dat we hebben ervaren was dat de tafelkleden in het restaurant niet werden verschoond zodat we de vlekken die's ochtend bij het ontbijt al aanwezig waren ook 's avonds nog aan wezig waren.

Ein schöner Kurztrip in gutem Hotel mit toller Aussicht!

Sehr schönes Hotel mit traumhaftem Blick auf das Ahrtal! Wir waren zu einem kurzen Wandertrip mit Geschäftskollegen dort und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Schöne kleine Sauna mit kostenlosen Bademänteln. Die Zimmer waren geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Bad und Sanitär ebenso. Gutes Frühstück, alles wichtige vorhanden. auf Anfrage wurde individuell Rührei frisch zubereitet. Wir können das Hotel gerne weiterempfehlen!

Alles richtig gemacht....

Wir haben die Unterkunft wegen der direkten Nähe zum Rotweinwanderweg gebucht. Wir waren mit dem Zimmer und dem Frühstück sehr zufrieden. Der abendliche Besuch im Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Alles ist fein. Der Charme des Hauses ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen.
