Lovely overnight in a great location.
A lovely hotel in the "Old Town" with large well appointed rooms and walking distance to stroll around restaurants and bars in the beautiful "Old Town". Breakfast excellent and the staff were most obliging.
Nothing,for a hotel in a typically tight environment of an "Old Town" the access and facilities were remarkably good.

War wirklich schade aber dieses Hotel kommt für uns nicht mehr infrage.
Die Lage des Hotels
Der Aufenthalt war gut bis auf den zweiten Tag beim Frühstück. Aus unserer Sicht gehören Hunde grundsätzlich nicht in den Frühstücksraum. Am Tisch hinter uns war ein Ehepaar mit Hund der sich ständig geschüttelt hat und von seinem Herrchen mit Wurst und Frühstücksei gefüttert wurde. Herrchen geht dann wieder was holen ohne sich die Hände zu waschen. Beim Auschecken haben wir den Herrn an der Rezeption darauf angesprochen ,leider hat er uns darauf geantwortet, dass für ihn Hunde auch in den Frühstücksraum gehören.

Mal wieder an die Ahr
Direkt in der Innenstadt mit Blick auf die Weinberge. Unkompliziert und heimelig. Der Ahr Rotwein Wanderweg ist in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen und auch eine Anreise mit der Bahn ist möglich nur wenige Gehminuten bis zur Haltestelle. Sehr schöner Frühstücksraum.

Lage und Ausstattung topp - dazu Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft von Eigentümer und Personal
Schon vor Erreichen des Hotels war das Personal äusserst hilfsbereit und geduldig, denn die Google-Navigation hatte mich leider im Ortskern von Ahrweiler fehlgeleitet und ich benötigte "Navigationshilfe von aussen". Auch während des Aufenthaltes waren alle Miterbeiter:innen und auch der Betreiber überaus freundlich und "Gäste-orientiert". Das Zimmer war geräumig, hell und sauber, das Bett - Dank der festen Matratze und einer Auswahl an Kopfkissen - für einen erholsamen Schlaf perfekt; schließlich konnten das reichhaltige Frühstück und der problemlose Checkout-Prozess den durchweg positiven Eindruck am Ende noch verstärken. Epilog: Als ich nach meiner Heimkehr feststellen musste, dass ich mein Handy-Ladekabel im Zimmer vergessen hatte, wurde auch das unverzüglich per Post zugeschickt. Ich kann das Ännchen nur wärmstens empfehlen und werde es bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Ahrweiler ganz sicher wieder buchen.
Auf den Raumduft im Badezimmer hätte ich durchaus verzichten können, hat aber dem ansonsten sehr positiven Eindruck keinen Abbruch getan. Ist halt Geschmacksache... . ;-)
