Lochview House

This was the nicest accommodation we stayed at during our 10 days in Scotland. The views were extraordinary, the location was in a peaceful and quiet residential area, the rooms were spotless, and the breakfast room was gorgeous. The hosts could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer. If you are fortunate enough to be able to book a room here do it! You will not be disappointed.

There were fabulous views from the dining room and we arrived on a very warm day and were able to sit out in the sunshine with a great view over the loch. The "welcome cake" was much appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable with tea and coffee. Breakfast was lovely and set us up for the day.

My husband has some mobility issues and everything is upstairs... Also, the house is on the side of a steep hill so walking down into Fort William is only for the fit and able! In fairness, I should have asked about accessibility before we booked but it is generally written into information about the property. It didn't detract from our stay but I am glad we weren't on the second floor!

Pen and Micha made our two nights stay so enjoyable. Great welcome, fantastic room (Linnhe Suite) with great views of the loch and excellent breakfast. Mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary, and we treated to a glass of fizz with breakfast!

Perfect breakfast, ask for the authentic Scottish one with cheese and chosen ham and grapes. Clean and bright. I liked the details: fair trade coffee & team, cozy lounge, friendly people.

The Lochview House is right in the town of Fort William within walking distance of the cute High Street with shopping, restaurants, and pubs. The inn is absolutely fantastic with extra touches like wine glasses if you brought in your own wine and fresh milk for the coffee/tea you can make in your room. The rooms were very nicely appointed and very comfortable. The breakfast room is bright with views of the loch. Breakfast choices were extensive and tasty. Finally, the hosts are delightful and so welcoming. They are knowledgeable about the sights in the area and have put together a welcome book with many excellent suggestions. We would definitely choose the Lochview House again!

The owners were very welcoming and accommodating to all of our preferences and dietary needs, the breakfast room was delightful with a mesmerising view, the garden room was more like an apartment, very spacious and beautifully turned out and it’s all in a great location.

Everything about LochView is about as good as it gets. I really value the small things as much as the big ones. I asked for a small helping at Breakfast and I go it. Two Americans were raving about the fresh fruit. Great bed, pillows and the view out to the hills and sea. I'll be back

An additional delight was the small library situated in the lounge. Lovely breakfast. If we had wanted a very early one we could have had their breakfast pack which I'm sure would have been good too. Great drying room for wet gear. Lovely views. Look at the birds in the garden!

A couple more milks would have been appreciated of rate tea in the room.

Very nice location in Fort William. Over the years, we visited several hotels and BnBs in Scotland, but the Lochview House in Fort William was by far our most prefered location! The view from the rooms and the breakfast room is very nice and the rooms are very spacious. The rooms are very tidy and the interior is very well-kept. Karen and Vince did an amazing job with the Lochview House!

Beautiful house in a stunning location. Karen was an exceptional host and was very friendly and helpful with extensive local knowledge. The smoked salmon and scrambled eggs breakfast is highly recommended!

Beautiful and cozy. I slept so well that I accidentally slept through breakfast and almost missed my bus! They also let me leave my luggage there in the morning before check-in, so I could go on a hike!
