The choice of food is just about right.
The front desk and the entrance are not on the same level. Reaching the front desk has to go up a staircase which is not easy.

Wonderful hotel with great facilities, spacious areas and bedroom. Everything was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was great too, although a bit more vegetarian/vegan options would have been great. Location is super - very close to the city centre and in a calm area.
It was really warm in the bedrooms and I couldn't lower the temperature so we just opened the windows during the night (which is not a very sustainable thing to do!)

The property was well located and very clean. However it was not clear to me from the start that the property also served as a retirement home. There was no clear division between the 2 usages so it felt very much like a hospital rather than a hotel.
Because the property also served as a retirement home (and possibly also a clinic), the look and feel of the place was very medical. Having recently spent time in the hospital I didn’t like the feeling there. Had I known from the start about the property’s dual use, I would have chosen another hotel.

It is historical and nice looking. All the functional facilities are modern and convenient. Swimming pool and sauna are very well maintained. Room is spacious

Large room
Location
Very quiet
No aircon. The whole hotel was overheating.
Struggled to sleep with the windows closed.
Seems to be for senior citizens. It was like staying in a retirement home. Would have like to know this before hand.
Shower was not level and flooded the bathroom floor.
Pillows were useless.
Bathroom has no extraction fan.
Buffet was average
No electric car charging
No parking on site

A strange hotel - a combination of hotel and retirement living units all mixed together. Very nice, clean rooms but an odd combination
I arrived late and left early so I have no knowledge of this hotel’s food services. The location is a 15” walk from downtown.

Perfect location . Not far from train station and the tramp. Had a good breakfast but the towels smelled a bit damp.
I was surprised to share the building with elderly residents.

Great location and super helpful staff. I loved the pool and meeting some of the residents was a delight.
The room was very warm. I'm not sure there's air conditioning so hotter days could be a bit challenging.

The location is excellent, near the central station. The building is awesome.
The mini kitchen didn't have all the kitchenware, no pans for example.

The hotel did not have air conditioning, which was inconvenient.
It was close to the city, so I was able to spend the evening well.

The staff (especially Jasmine) super helpful and welcoming;
Swimming pull and sauna - it'a win! I really enjoyed my late night swims after a long day at work.
Gym - good machines
Would be good to have gym opened a bit earlier.

Breakfast option was very good....lots of different food options.
Our shower leaked into the bathroom itself which was a little annoying

I loved the building, the room space, the pool and the sauna. The breakfast was superb! I loved the warmth that exuded from the inclusion of our senior folk in society! My husband LOVED it was opposite Beethoven's mother's grave!! He was there on a Beethoven pilgrimage!! 😊🎶
It's difficult to think of anything for improvement! Maybe some more information in English? We turned the heat down in our room but still quite warm, for us anyway. That's about it!

Our family of four stayed in two adjacent rooms, which were doubles rather than the twins requested - but no problem as the beds were large and had twin individual duvets. It's a lovely old building, close to the train station and town centre. Our kids loved the pool. The breakfast and room comfort were all great.
It's worth noting that this grand old building is also an assisted living residence, with shared use of facilities, so if you have some lively and loud young kids with you … some extra care may be needed when around elderly residents.

The garden, greenery view, of the rooms, , large rooms, clean rooms and bathrooms
Nıo kettle, no coffee machine, no refrigirator, no feather pillows, very expensive room service coffee price, ( which gets cold during the long way from the bistro to the rooms ), and my liquid soap case was almost empty, they did not fill it even after they clean the room..

Great location and decent breakfast. The old building is very beautiful, but with the new building, the entire place feels a bit like a maze, and you can get easily lost. I really liked the inner courtyard.
First impression was horrible: I was snobbed by one of the reception staff upon arrival. The reservation was under my name, but somehow they erased it when my colleague checked in earlier and the receptionist didn't believe me... So I had to call my colleague down to the reception to validate my identity even though I actually did the booking. Then I was given zero information about anything (swimming pool, breakfast time, wifi, ...) and sent to the wrong floor. The rest of the staff seemed very nice and helpful though.
No standard Wifi, but you get redirected to a website where you have to enter a ticket number that you have to ask at the reception.
