Room was beautiful and clean but the window opened up to the fire escape and therefore allowed access to the room. Getting into the hotel and room was difficult. Communication extremely difficult, very hard to reach anyone. Staff on premise didn't speak german or english and were of no help. Steep staircase, no elevator

This place was a little hard to find. You have to look up because there is only a Bob W sign above it. I do like that everything is touch less, you can use your phone to get in and out of your room.This is a very nice place that is close walking distance to everything. I will say to pack lite people because there is no elevator. We were lucky that we only had to go up two and half flight of stairs. And it is on a fairly busy street and at night it can get quite loud. Closing the windows does help but it all depends on how the people are. But, it was a decent place to stay.

I stayed at BoB Bonn during my recent trip. The location was convenient, and the room itself was satisfactory, but one significant issue significantly impacted my overall travel experience. The hotel does not provide a luggage storage service, which forced me to use a train station locker. Unfortunately, the locker malfunctioned, and I lost access to my belongings for the rest of my trip. This was very stressful and could have been avoided if the hotel had offered a basic luggage storage option, as many other hotels do. Additionally, there was no elevator, making it difficult to carry luggage upstairs. I also noticed there was no daily cleaning service or towel change, which made the stay less comfortable. I truly hope the management will consider offering luggage storage and improving these basic services, as it would make a big difference for future travellers.

This accommodation may not suit every type of traveler. Starting with the positives: Firstly, the room’s amenities were quite good, the room was clean and tidy upon arrival. Secondly, the guesthouse is located close to Bonn’s city center. However, there were a few challenges: First, upon arrival, there was no staff to greet us, so we were unsure how to enter. Thankfully, another guest helped us enter the building and our room. Second, we had to park quite a distance away and carry our luggage several hundred meters to the guesthouse. Third, the building has no elevator. One of our rooms was on the fourth floor, and carrying two 25kg suitcases up the narrow staircase was quite difficult. For this reason, it may not be ideal for elderly guests. Fourth, during our two-night stay, no room cleaning was provided. When we inquired, we were told it was due to a "green future" policy, and cleaning would incur an extra charge. We felt this was somewhat unexpected, as we believe cleanliness and sustainability need not conflict. (Note: Cleaning is only offered for stays of 7+ nights.) Fifth, although breakfast was included, it wasn’t served on-site. Two external restaurants provided the service, and one was closed on Sundays. We found this inconvenient, especially when walking several hundred meters in heavy rain for breakfast. Throughout our stay, we didn’t encounter any staff members, which wasn’t ideal. If a phone loses power or malfunctions, entry becomes impossible.

High quality room, very clean. Great shower with pushbuttons to turn on, toilettries provided. Well equipped kitchen with crockery, glasses pans, fridge microwave, kettle, toaster and hob. Welcome coffee provided to use with cafetiere. Also had small table with 2 chairs and cupboard area for hanging clothes. Friendly staff and use of whatsapp to contact them a nice touch. Room was well located in central Bonn, cafes, restaurants and local transport. Was also a good base as bought some food, store in fridge, and prepare some meals. This wouldnt be possible in a normal hotel. Will definitely be looking for this type of accommodation again as provided flexibility and was great value.

The room was above my expectations in terms of size and cleanliness. The location of the hotel is very central and convenient. The only downside is the absence of an elevator for those guests that will book a room on third floor and above.

What a fantastic space. Modern with all amenities. Bob W responds immediately to any concern. Make sure you have pre-booked and saved the correspondence because you need those codes!! It's a different paradigm, but one does get used to it.

What an amazing place to stay! The apart-hotel is spacious, modern and clean. It's located in a great area, just down the street from the Beethoven museum, a beautiful market square, and lots of dining options. 10/10 recommend

I absolutely loved the Bob W in Bonn. My apartment was quiet and located on a wonderful street. Breakfast at The Lighthouse Cafe was a daily treat. I plan to stay at other Bob W locations.

This was an excellent apartment in a fab location on the Bonngasse. Everything very walkable and lots of bars cafes restaurants to choose from as well as shopping if that’s your thing. Only couple of things (but minor) - the apartment was on the 4th floor and we had 2 large and very heavy suitcases to lift up there as there is no lift. We weren’t aware of that before booking. And although an air condition unit in the bedroom, it was 30 degrees when we were there and as we were on the top floor, all the heat is up there. The blinds on the roof were literally radiating heat back into the apartment so the AC was fighting this. But we did enjoy it. We were messaged for any wants and needs etc and check in was very easy. Funky apartment and we appreciated the coffee and sweets and the personal note. Would recommend but not for someone with any physical issues.

On the positive side, the location is great and the room was clean. But … Tiny room on the 4th floor, no elevator. No room service at all. No keys either. The only way to get in is via internet, which means if your phone doesn’t work or you aren’t connected, you are screwed. There is an AC unit on the wall which was needed since it was very hot, but it blew cold air straight at my face, which was really unpleasant. Various other things in the room didn’t work right or were missing but with nobody in the building, it was too much hassle to ask for help.
