Dangerous. Unprofessional staff.

We travelled with a small baby. Not just that this place does not bother to mention that there is no elevator even though this an old building - the stairs are dangerous. I fell and hurt myself badly. We arrived with lots of luggage and a stroller for our baby without knowing there was an elevator. Try carrying the luggage up these stairs or a stroller frequently up and down - impossible. The staff was rude and unprofessional. They refused to refund or even help. Aggressively they only could offer: - that we can put the stroller in a fire emergency way (insane) - that we move to the first floor (still many stairs) This is an old building. Might be charming but not for a kind of hotel. Not for people with any big luggage or a baby or people with disability. Unprofessional not mentioning this but taking the money from people which are vulnerable. On our departure we saw a stroller parked in the emergency way - look at the picture. Imagine - that this is accepted today. May there never happened a fire. We travel a lot for work but never came across such rude and unprofessional staff like this. We were there with a baby. It is about life and death potentially if you fall. They did not care an inch. Whatever manipulative nonsense they answer to this review - I had my dose of their unprofessionality. They did not help us in a vulnerable situation - and call themselves a hotel.

Abysmal customer service

The hotel is well located. The rooms are well furnished and finished to a good standard. The check in and check out are really easy, and the online app works reasonably well. The provided tea and coffee is a nice bonus.

The customer service is absolutely abysmal. It seems that they write that you can always contact them and bother you with countless AI generated WhatsApp messages only so that you never actually contact them. When we checked into the room the heat pump or a similar looking device just outside the window was making a terrible, headache inducing noise. When we tried to contact the property managers, a whole saga began. After getting through the AI agents we were connected to what was clearly an external company that was absolutely useless at providing any meaningful solutions, saying that only the "local team" can help us but they are not working at the moment. After 30 hours of messaging and being ignored (we had to contact them again on the next day, as they tried to ignore us) we were finally moved to another room—and informed that the next time we should choose their most premium rooms. It seems that this is not incidental though—we met other two customers, who were waiting with an infant for prolonged amount of time to even be able to get into their room—and they were ignored by the customer service too. Booking.com was unable to reach them too, and ended up compensating us themselves. The cleanliness of the first room was also questionable—the headrest on the bed smelled weird, while there was hair on the towel and on the mirror.

If you have big luggage, be careful — there is no elevator, and you will have to carry your bags up the stairs, especially if your apartment is on the 3rd floor.

Expensive, easy but ok

Great location.

Heating and airco acting strange with only extremely hot or cold. Is an appartement without any contact with staff but still very easy to check in. Only when you forget something after check out it isnt easy to get your stuff back. Breakfast is not at this location but at 2 cafes they work with. On Sunday only one of both is open and from 10 am onwards (with check out at 11). So I wouldn’t pay extra for breakfast since it isn’t worth it. Overall still had a good stay but quite expensive for what you get imo.

Disappointing for the price

Central location.Clean.

Steep stairs, no lift. Room very small for 2 people. No bedside table on one side of bed, had to move bed to open or close curtains. Not enough space for two flight cases. Voucher-based breakfast adds no value, you'd be better off doing your own thing. Overall, expensive for what it delivered.

It is a newly renovated hotel, but lacks of personal touch

The room was very clean and modern. The bathroom have really nice ammenities

Not having someone to ask questions at the hotel was a drag. I tought the breakfast was going to be a buffett like in similar hotels, it only covered part of a regular breakfast in a near by cafe, not happy with that at all

Excellent location,everything you need for the kitchen even coffee and tea.

It’s a busy place especially weekend that’s way it was very noisy and also it was not comfortable carry a suitcase up the stairs.

Human presence/better communication needed.

The location is very good, central. The breakfast you can purchase as an add-on is also good. Restaurant nearby. Apartment itself is small but ok, though we had problems with the AC, and an in-room safe would be much appreciated. Nice to have laundry facility, but machines weren't working well when we used them.

There's NO elevator, which is difficult with luggage. Also, given that there's almost no staff present, the place should do a better job communicating the door codes -- do it earlier, and let people know HOW to get into the building and apartments -- and that fact that you MUST have wi-fi access to get in at all. Difficult and unpleasant to deal with all these entrance issues after long overnight international flights. Send this info 2 days before, please, not the morning someone flies, when you might miss the email altogether. Had we not met other guests coming in and out, it would have taken us even longer to get in. And then it was difficult to figure out how to open apartment door, and no one was available to ask. Apartments also could have been better supplied with paper products; you have to find them yourself in the building, and that cabinet was often empty. In short, one live person, rather than a what's app text responder, would really be helpful here. Two days later, we did meet one young woman who sometimes sat in a small office. She did her best to be helpful, but was not always there. The what's app responder also did their best to be responsive, but it's just not the same. Or enough.

Info regarding the building, number of floors & apartments can be made clearer. Earlier info regarding which flat was useful, being on third floor with no lift wasn't a problem for us but it could be to others

Excellent hotel in great location

Great location in the old town not far from the train station. The room was very clean and modern whit a comfy bed. The AC worked well and amenities (coffee maker, teabags, soap) were provided. Linens and towels were clean and good quality. Good restaurants and shopping right outside the door. The room was pretty small but very comfortable. My daughter and I stayed for two nights and it was perfect for our needs.

Checking in was a bit difficult as my phone was unable to load the check-in website without wi-fi which I wasn't able to access without checking in! I called their phone number and was connected to someone immediately who was able to get me connected to Wi-Fi and get me checked in.

Lovely clean studio in Bonn

The hotel is in a really good location for visiting Bonn and the surrounding area. It's a relatively short walk to the metro and the main train station. It's also very convenient for shops and restaurants. Even though it is located on a street with cafes and bars we didn't hear any noise from outside. The studio was very clean and came with everything we needed for our stay. The laundry facilities were an added bonus. Although there's no front desk, there are lockers to store your luggage prior to check in which was very handy. The keyless entry was fine for the most part and it was nice not to have to carry a key around all the time. There was a technical issue with the locks one morning, but I called the Bob W team and they were able to open the door for me remotely. We'd happily stay here again.

Very nicely designed and appointed apartments that are centrally located. Traveled with a child and they had the pull out couch arranged as a bed.

Amazing customer service. Instant replies to all of my questions. They use a cool user friendly online platform for everything - room keys, customer service, extras etc. They really make sure you have everything you need. Super clean, well designed and comfortable apartment! Amazing location, in the centre of everything. Very nice breakfast in the cafe next door (try the lemon cake). Will definitely be using Bob W again in future travels.

Great apartment, stuff very responsive through whatsapp (though I haven't actually met anyone), great location at Bonn city center (and next to Beethoven's house, as the name implies). We also had access to free laundry machines which was useful. Check-in process is automatic and very easy. We could cook simple dishes (pasta) in the apartment which was nice.

The floor was very slightly slanted, which we only noticed in our 2nd day, which was slightly weird but didn't bother us. Not actually meeting anyone from the stuff was a bit odd, though they were helpful and available through whatsapp.
