Short trip to tuscany

The location was brilliant, only 15 mins walk from train station so able to easily use the hotel as a base to discover more of tuscany. Also very close to beach and many shops and restaurants nearby along with a very popular restaurant in the hotel which I didn't have time to use. The room was bright and modern, lovely bathroom, bed very comfortable, with nice large balcony. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good and varied.

Nothing really to say here other than I would of preferred to have ability to make tea or coffee in my room, an addition of a kettle etc would be a good.

The hotel room was tiny, dark and grubby looking and completely outdated. Also could of done with a clothes press and tea and coffee facilities. It needs a complete overhaul. The advertised garden terrace was closed. There was no residents lounge.

A lovely place to return to from our day trips around the area by train . (Lucca 20min , Oisa 20min )

The owners were so helpful and professional . The availability of utube for news from Australia and Netflix was really important to us . 🤗 In such a small , family run Hotel , that was a real bonus and the owners went out of their way to make it work . Thank you . Breakfast was also fantastic 🤗 Coffee wonderful . We had a balcony room that we could see the Sea 🤗 Thank you for making our stay so lovely .

Viareggio - the perfect sandy beach resort

Excellent location in the heart of Viareggio town with close access to restaurants and bars, and the fabulous sandy beach for which the area is famous. The hotel is just down a side street which means it is quiet, but conveniently close to the main road. We arrived by train and took a taxi to the hotel (5mins, €15) Our room was on the 4th floor (75 steps - or a lift) and had a small balcony and a large window looking towards the west, and the sea 200 m away. It was clean with ensuite bathroom. Slightly awkward shower if I'm being picky. Friendly and helpful reception, good breakfast with a bacon-and-eggs option. It looked to have a good restaurant, although we didn't use it.

The breakfast was fantastic. Our only issue was the room, which was very small for three people.I think I must not have read the description carefully enough. Otherwise, the place was great.

Nice hotel

Great location, good breakfast, nice staff. The terrace on the last floor was nice to enjoy a beer with the wiew.
