It's pretty remarkable to have a room which overlooks the west front of Chartres Cathedral, especially when there is an amazing light show every evening. The hotel itself is a historic building with real style with fine floors and furniture - and a medieval cellar. Breakfast was excellent, too, and , unlike most places, the owner was there to serve and help.
It's a bit daunting to get a car close to the hotel because of its proximity to the cathedral but the owner does all he can to help.

Great location
Booking.com website states that hotel has parking; it does not.

Located right next to the cathedral it was the perfect spot to explore the city. The room was a charm with a Jacuzzi-bathtub and a very comfortable bed.

Location was amazing. The cathedral at your doorstep.
The breakfast was not worthy. Not the typical fresh French breakfast you would expect.
