Great location, service and comfort

The location, service and comfort were all excellent. The onsite parking was a good bonus for us as we road-tripped through NW France. Our family of four fit comfortably in the family room and appreciated the spacious bathroom. Arranging our arrival was simple with a quick phone call as we got near, since the staff isn’t on site full time. Breakfast was arranged for us in the kitchen and offered a simple, but tasty and adequate, selection of breads, cheeses, spreads and drinks.

Our only complaint was that the bunk beds could use some servicing - the metal frame squeaked a bit too much as the kids tossed and turned, and ended up waking each other up a few times as a result.

Charming property which makes you feel like home

The property has a living room, a dining room, a salon and a kitchen for common use. Enough space for your small party to chill after a long day of sightseeing. Room is spacious and facilities are good. Breakfast was great.

Lovely property in a great location

Beautiful old house in fantastic condition. Perfect location close to town centre , quiet with secure parking, great for our classic car.

We wish we'd stayed at the Best Western only booked the house because there was parking.

When we arrived the telephone number we had been given to notify the hotel that we were 15 minutes from arrival did not work and no one had told us that we needed to go to the reception at the Best Western Hotel in the square... fortunately we were helped by a very kind gentleman who was walking his dog who explained and obviously this has happened to other guests..the staff at the Best Western were very helpful. The bathroom did not have a fan and we could not open the windows so very steamed up .. no bathrobes provided and no milk in the kitchen for a cup of tea when we finally got into the house which was very dark and many of the lights in the drawing room did not work.

The breakfast was a good heavy continental breakfast. The room was large, and the bathroom was modern. The common rooms and kitchen were good to enjoy at leisure.

I did not realize that there would not be anyone available at the hotel until check-in time. I waited in the garden until they arrived to check us in.

Gorgeous room and excellent experience!

This is a beautiful mansion around the corner from a larger hotel, The Monarque. that has a hotel bar and two restaurants, one Michelin starred. Staying here is like being a guest in a spectacular house with a gorgeous room, luxurious living room, fully equipped kitchen. Every amenity including the super luxe sheets, super soft towels, huge tub and amazing bed was beyond expectations. A close walk to the cathedral and minutes from the Monarque Hotel and all of their facilities - the hotel that owns Maisonette Blanche. The breakfast was truly outstanding, served right downstairs. Only thing I would mention is that if you arrive there, stop at the Monarque for the gate code or call and they will come to let you in. For the price, this place is far above what you might expect.

Really nice room, well appointed and decorated. Lovely building. Friendly staff on arrival. Good location. Good facilities in hotel. Delicious and generous breakfast. Staff arranged breakfast to be left for us to take away due to our early departure. Staff sorted out an issue we had when our car was blocked in on the driveway.

No shower in room (shower attachment in spa bath but no wall bracket). No tea/coffee facilities or mini-fridge in room - all readily available for free downstairs, just not in room. No staff on site after check-in. Room service / reception line goes to adjoining hotel. We had an issue with our car being blocked in - it was resolved with no problems, would want have been more re-assuring to speak to someone on-site rather than rely on emails
