Villa Gabriel - Maison Blanche Chartres

Beautifully decorated villa that acts as an annexe for the big hotel down the room. A great kitchen and communal areas, very comfortable bed.

Annoyingly the bathroom light didn’t go off at night if the door was open so it was full on a lot of the time

Good location, pretty villa, good sized rooms, cute concept to have access to shared well equipped kitchen and living room. Parking on site was a plus.

In our room, the towels were wet when we arrived, possibly freshly washed but incompletely dried (but how can one be sure?). There was no bathrobe and the room had a small TV, both disappointing for a property claiming 5 stars. The complimentary water bottle was half empty, suggesting a left over bottle from the previous occupants. The shared spaces are nice to have but they are not air conditioned and unusable on a hot day.

j'ai beaucoup aimé l'atmosphère de la maison, les multiples possibilités dans la façon de la vivre.

Clim un peu trop bruyante chambre Oasis, trop de jour en haut des rideaux de la fenêtre le matin, mais c'est histoire de trouver quelquechose à améliorer ;-)

When we arrived the telephone number we had been given to notify the hotel that we were 15 minutes from arrival did not work and no one had told us that we needed to go to the reception at the Best Western Hotel in the square... fortunately we were helped by a very kind gentleman who was walking his dog who explained and obviously this has happened to other guests..the staff at the Best Western were very helpful. The bathroom did not have a fan and we could not open the windows so very steamed up .. no bathrobes provided and no milk in the kitchen for a cup of tea when we finally got into the house which was very dark and many of the lights in the drawing room did not work.
