Excellent location in the centre of Chartres . The young man in reception who added heating and a blanket to our cold room was very helpful
Our room was cold, really cold. The staff added a heater and blanket but not what I except from a Mercure.
I paid to have a room with a view of the cathedral: it had not that view!
The breakfast was ok but again not up to standard.
As I put the card in the checkout box the woman at the desk didn’t acknowledge me at all which was shocking! I repeat this is not what I expect from my favourite hotel chain. Used a great deal each year!
