Just loved it

Great location in walking distance to the old town and main sightseeing. Breakfast was just outstanding: the freshest ingredients, fantastic bread and coffee, and the teas selection was wider than we’ve ever seen. The room and atmosphere were very warm and welcoming. We just loved the experience.

Absolutely perfect!

The property is located on a quiet street just outside the center of Chartres. I stayed just one day with my family, and it was a wonderful surprise. The apartment was large and comfortable, well-furnished with a clever mix of new and old. The hosts welcomed us warmly. We enjoyed a hearty breakfast on a beautiful terrace overlooking the garden. Absolutely perfect.

I can't find a real flaw, and I can't point to any significant improvement. I can only advise anyone with walking difficulties to ask for a ground floor apartment.

Great place to stay.

We were so lucky to find a free parking space right outside the property. Anne our hostess greeted us; a delightful lady who made us very welcome and showed us to our rooms. One room was equipped with a kitchen that we found very useful. Our beds were comfortable and we had a good breakfast on the terrace. The location was ideal and only a short walk to the cathedral and restaurants etc. which are in a traffic free zone.

Our rooms were on the second floor of a fairly narrow dark staircase and being all 75 years plus was a bit of a challenge.

A great place to stay in Chartres. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a very nice b&b in a great location with I. Easy walking distance to the cathedral and old town. I had a small apartment with living room, bedroom, and small kitchen. I was only there for one night but it would have been great for a longer stay. The hostess was extremely welcoming and breakfast was excellent. Street parking was easy and close after business hours and very affordable if harder to find during the day.

Best choice of accommodations while in France

Great location near the old town where the famed cathedral is located. Beautiful mansion with lovely apartment like accommodations. Very good bed and roomy bathroom. And last but not least, delicious breakfast. The owners/managers are friendly and very helpful. Wish I could have stayed longer.

I had a truly delightful stay at Maunoury Citybreak. The location is excellent — conveniently situated for exploring the city while offering a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. I especially loved the breakfast setting, which was charming and thoughtfully arranged, making for a perfect start to the mornings. The room was both cozy and comfortable, providing a restful and welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm and well-located place to stay!

It’s a lovely base from which to explore Chartres

We had a wonderful welcome from our hosts. We had a free upgrade to the studio apartment which was well equipped, comfortable and very quiet at night. We had a nice breakfast at the house, with home made yoghurt, fresh figs and a choice of French breads with homemade jams. Our hostess made a takeaway breakfast for our last day as we had to leave early.

This was such a delightful place to stay! It is close to everything and yet quiet. Anne and Gilles are such kind hosts and welcome you into their beautiful home. The bed is amazing and the breakfast on the terrace is gorgeous. I would never stay anywhere else!

My girlfriends and I only stayed one night, but we had a fun memorable time in Chartres, in a warm beautiful home.

Our hosts were just great, the rooms were decorated beautifully, breakfast was amazing, and the location was perfect for walking to the cathedral, having a nice meal there and watching the illuminations.

We had two cars and one of them had to park a few blocks away.

We felt very privileged to stay in such a grand apartment so close to the Cathedral.

Anne greeted us upon arrival with a secure place for our bikes. After cycling all day, we truly appreciated the large, quiet apartment to relax in before heading out for dinner and the 11:30 am check-out allowed ample time to enjoy a wonderful breakfast prepared by our hosts and still visit the Cathedral before carrying on our Veloscenie cyclng trip.
